On the road to Emmaus, Yeshua met with two of His disciples and, beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
But the lesson didn't end there. It was repeated in Jerusalem.
Then He ascended.
This is not a typical post. Little commentary is needed, in my Scripture studies I found a great lesson...
It was the day of the preparation, and the Sabbath was drawing near.
The women, who had come with him out of Galilee, followed after, and saw the tomb, and how his body was laid. They returned and prepared spices and ointments.
On the Sabbath they rested according to the Almighty God's instruction.
Then on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they and some others came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb and entered in. They were shocked, it was empty.

Some of us went to the tomb, and found it just like the women had said, but they didn’t see Him.”

What does the seven mile road lesson reveal?
Almighty God is sovereign and unchanging. He is the loving, kind, merciful, gracious forgiving Abba Father that wants to bless you and He has provided the Torah, the Prophets and Psalms as a road map to point toward the blessing of a life journey of peace with Messiah Yeshua - Jesus the living, risen from death.
That's the heart of the seven mile road lesson and it's not a religion.
Our Creator, the Almighty Elohim God is calling you to peace in the lesson. Not only that, He offers you, me and the world redemption, salvation and atonement from sin through forgiveness and eternal life in resurrection.
We can choose to take the first step, it's repentance.

He said to them, “What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?”

As they came near to the village where they were going, Jesus acted like he would go further. They urged him not to, saying, “Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over.”

“Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts? See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit doesn’t have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.”

They gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.

“This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.”

You are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send out the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”
He then led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
While He blessed them, He withdrew from them, and was carried up into heaven.

They worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
That blessing was likely the priestly blessing known in Hebrew as Birkat Kohanim, and in found in the Torah in Numbers 6:24–26:
"Yevarechecha Adonai veyishmerecha;Ya'er Adonai panav eleicha vichuneka;Yissa Adonai panav eleicha veyasem lecha shalom."
Translation:
"The Lord bless you and keep you;The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace."
After that Numbers 6:27 give us the promise of blessing:
"And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them."
In 1979, excavations at Ketef Hinnom, just southwest of the Old City of Jerusalem uncovered two tiny silver scrolls. When carefully unrolled, engraved in the the silver sheets were the priestly blessing inscribed in Paleo-Hebrew script.

He can change you heart in the new covenant which says:
"Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the LORD.
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD:
I will put my law [Torah] within them, and I will write it on their hearts.
And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD.
For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." Jeremiah 31:31-34
The LORD provides the way to walk our life road with Messiah from the outer court to the inner court of the Holy Place.
Consider a prayer: Please, God, show me and guide me as to what I should do about this.
To live in peace, it's time to repent and return to God's voice, to hear and do His what He says as it is written and walk in faith on His Kingdom road.
We can choose to take the first step, it's repentance.
Take a look at your life and repent of any wrongdoing, immorality or transgression and return, repent to Almighty God's ways just as Yeshua - Jesus did.
Ask Almighty God for His mercy, grace and peace promise of forgiveness and accept His gift of love and grace through Messiah Yeshua.
Then walk with Him toward the Kingdom of heaven in the seven mile road lesson.
Walk on the road to the kingdom and open your Bible, and never forget what Yeshua said:
"For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the law [Torah] until everything is accomplished. So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven..." Matthew 5:18-19If you know in your heart and soul that you need to get your life right with Almighty God, if you know you need to walk through life in God's ways, not your own, its time to seek His instruction and make them your own. You can't earn you way to the Kingdom of God, but like Yeshua, you can choose to walk in His ways because He said so.
Don’t wait for tomorrow, start your walk on the seven-mile road to Emmaus with Yeshua by grabbing the robe of Jesus the resurrected Messiah, Yeshua HaMashiach.
After all, if we are not walking on the road with King Messiah, who are we following?
Our way as believers in Yeshua the resurrected Messiah is to walk like He walked, talk like He talked in God's image as we were made to do. So be like Jesus, read the same Bible He read and be a image bearer of God on earth as we intended to be from the beginning.

Thank God Yeshua is our High Priest, our mediator in the Most Holy Place before the right hand of Almighty God. Yeshua is at the door knocking, looking for our response in the daily choice to pursue righteous ways that can only be found through God's voice of teaching and instruction that's written for us.

If you'll walk and listen to Him, you can learn the principles of the Kingdom lifestyle which are just as He said in the Sermon on the Mount, "written" in the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings of Scripture.
The narrow road lesson is , what's written points to Messiah. They lead to Yeshua, and our faith privilege is not earning the destination, but rather we get to do what's right in the LORD's eyes and teach others about them because:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.Today is the time.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17
Open our eyes and look for Messiah beginning with Moses, after all he tuaght what Almighty God has to say. Believe what Jesus, Yeshua said about about how to live life in the kingdom.
"If you had believed Moses, you would believe Me, because he wrote about Me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?”… John 5:46-47It's your choice of destiny.
You can choose to walk life's road in God's mercy and peace with Messiah from the Outer Court to Holy Place and the final destination, the Most Holy Place of Almighty God's presence.
Study and do the Scriptures the Messiah of all Israel lived out and taught that are filled with meaning.
Who is the Messiah of all Israel?
Who is the Messiah of all Israel?
His name is Yeshua - Jesus of Nazareth and His name expresses not only his identity but His mission to save us from sin's death grip and show us how the walk in the way of holiness in a royal bondservant priesthood to tell others just as God's prophets declared in the Torah.

The Torah tells us who:
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Exodus 19:5-6.
The apostle Paul explained God's covenant promises were always based on faith, not religion:
"As indeed he says in Hosea, "Those who were not my people I will call 'my people,' and her who was not beloved I will call 'beloved.'" And in the very place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' there they will be called 'sons of the living God.'" Romans 9:25-26"Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, "The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob"; "and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins." Romans 11:25-27
Choose Almighty God's ways to walk as His imager on the set apart narrow road. Get off the wide road where we will stumble, trip and fall because it's the way of a crooked and twisted generation.
Simon Peter summed it up this way:
They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1Peter 2:8-10
Yeshua lived and lives totally in line with the Torah as it is written. He taught it on the Sabbath and thank God Yeshua kept the appointed Feasts of the LORD. He preached the word and followed the Father’s commands and instruction to the letter and still does.
So what do we need to do about the seven mile road lesson?
Yeshua tells us to know the Scriptures, do them and teach them!
Not just read or study, but do and walk in His footsteps, skip past the adds and deletes of some religion traditions and be blessed:
"And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them."
