HalleluYah He Reigns!!

In my Scripture studies I found a connection to the song verse: "All God's Children singing Glory Glory HalleluYah He Reigns!!"

The popular song by the group the "Newsboys" inspired me this Sabbath morning. Many have sung songs with the Hebrew word Hallelujah for years... but do you know what it means?

Translated into English from Hebrew, HalleluYah means: "Praise Yah."

"Praise Yah" conveys the concept of: approaching the King!

Glory - Glory HalleluYah He Reigns can break language barriers!

Here's the thing, "Yah" is a Biblical short name, an abbreviated form of the Tetragrammaton YHVH.

Short names point to a personal relationship, much like Dan for Daniel or Sam for Samuel. People rarely ever use a short name without knowing a person.

Short names need relationship, most often through friendship.

Consider the Biblical name "Yehoshua." It's OK if you're not familiar with it, after all our modern English has morphed that ancient Hebrew name Yehoshua into Joshua. Yehoshua means "God will save."

In its shorter form, Yehoshua is Yeshua and Yeshua means He saves!!

At the end of the day, Almighty God's goal is that all mankind be saved.

When I learned that the name Yeshua has wandered through the wilderness of time, translation and transliteration I was shocked.

The salvation name has moved from Hebrew (Yeshua) to Greek (Iesous) to Latin (Ieosus) and finally into the English name we now know as Jesus. Just check out any legit Dictionary or Encyclopedia. It's simple, Jesus' name is Yeshua and He saves.

Austin, Texas based Hebrew teacher Robert Allon provides some shocking truth about Jesus:

"There was no letter "j" in the Hebrew or Greek languages in Biblical times or the sound we now associate with it. When the name was finally transliterated not from the Hebrew but from the Greek, the letter, j, was used to make the, y (ye) sound.

So even when the KJV was translated [1611], our Lord was not called, Jesus, He was called, Yeh-soos, which was taken from the Greek transliteration of His Hebrew name."

Just check out the Bible that was in use by the pilgrims when they came to America.

They brought the 1599 Geneva Bible. The Puritans brought the Bible to America on the Mayflower. Yet, the name Jesus is not in that Bible translation, the He Saves names is listed as the name "Iefus."

Let's turn back toYah and HalleluYah. It's really important.

There are many people listed in the Bible that carry the short name "Yah" as a part of their own Biblical name. They include these names and meanings:
• Abijah – Yah is my father

All of these Biblical names describe important attributes of The Father, our Creator.

the Bible provides an extensive names list through every story because names are important. It is well worth your time to check it out and study Biblical names, even the order in which they appear tells a big story.

After all, God gives us His teaching and instruction because He loves us. Yah's word teaches us guidelines about how we are to live in the Kingdom of God. It's the original message of the deceiver to fall for the idea that God does not mean what He says or that He changes His mind. Don't listen to that message any longer. It's a lie.

What does this all mean?

It's time for you to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His word and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your coming assignment.

It means we need to know "Who is the One Called Jesus.

Consider a prayer: Please, God guide me by your Spirit as to what I should hear and do.

It's time to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His words and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your assignment.

Stretch out your hand, and take from the tree of life, and live forever.

Open a Bible, read it, listen to God's voice and do Yeshua's teaching about the forever jots and tittles.

You can learn how the things which are written in the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms are concerning Messiah and you can teach others to live life like Jesus, it's love in God's way:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17
Today is the time, open your eyes if you're dead in your own valley of dry bones.

Look up and you'll recognize Messiah from Abraham's promise passed on to Isaac and Jacob as written by Moses in the Torah. You can see Him too in the Prophets and the Writings.

Repent and walk your Emmaus Road with Messiah. Study the Scriptures He taught every Sabbath that are filled with doing life God's way in the Kingdom, and tell others about Him. Be a gatekeeper until the house is complete.

HalleluYah He Reigns!
