Be Wise - Consider the Implications...

The Arch of Titus

If you are like me, you may have misread or misunderstood many messages of Scripture including the parables simply because publishers have added in chapters and verse numbers to help us locate and synchronize Scripture reading. For this purpose they are wonderful, but in my Scripture studies I found the thing is... God did not provide them.

So, while they help us identify verse locations, they can sometimes break up the intended theme and message flow from the original manuscripts, because God's word is not written that way…

Today, more than ever, I pray that we all consider and act on the message, the implication and warning of the 'parable' of Matthew 25 without the verse numbering. Instead, look at the message of the parable of the latter day fulfillment of the Appointed Day of Tabernacles from the intended symbols of Scripture. You'll see that God calls it the Feast of In-gathering for a reason!!

Some of the keyword symbols and parable meanings in the passage include:

Five = Torah
Virgins = Followers of The Lord Messiah Yeshua
Midnight = The Darkness of Tribulation Kingdom of Heaven = Restored Kingdom of God
Lamp = Life living out the Words from God, Torah truth
Bridegroom = Messiah Yeshua, Jesus Christ
Foolish = Ignores and does not the Word of God
Wise = Reads and acts on the Words - The Torah of God
Oil = Righteous life in the Holy, Set Apart Spirit
Cry = The awakening shout from the Shofar on Trumpets Day
Marriage Feast = Day of Tabernacles, (Ingathering), The Second Coming
The dealers the preachers that sell religion and traditions of men instead of the teaching and instruction of God
Then (in the latter days) the kingdom of heaven (God) will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom (Messiah).

Five of them were foolish, (did not study and act on the word of God) and five were wise (followed His instruction as it is written in the Torah). For when the foolish took their lamps (their life witness), they took no oil (no spirit of doing the Word) with them, but the wise took flasks of oil (life in the Holy spirit doing the Word) with their lamps (Spirit filled life).

As the bridegroom (Yeshua - Jesus) was delayed (for two days, for 2,000 years He has not yet come), they all became drowsy and slept (death). But at midnight (darkness of tribulation) there was a cry(Trumpet), ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins rose (all arose in resurrection) and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out' (we have not been righteous in God's commandments we acted as if they were hung on the cross).

But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’ And while they were going to buy, (looking for His spirit) the bridegroom came, and those who were ready (followed all His word and Feast Days though His promised spirit) went in with him to the marriage feast (they had been honoring Tabernacles and knew the Feast) and the door was shut (the time of the celebration with Messiah for those that know the faith and do the commandments of Messiah)

Afterward the other virgins came also (they missed the honor of the elect that have the faith of Messiah and do God's commandments, a Feast time), saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’

But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore, for you (the five foolish that ignore the Torah) know neither the day nor the hour."
Know the plan, honor God's Torah, His Appointed Times, His Sabbathss.

They are all represented in Revelation as the symbols of the seven lamp stand - the Menorah.

The seven feasts and the seven spirits of God
are portrayed as a symbol of light for our path and walk in life.

Just look at "Who" is in the middle of the Menorah lamp described in Revelation 1:12-13:
"Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the middle of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest."
There is a reason we are to honor God's instruction - to observe. It is a covenant with God:
“You shall observe the Feast of Weeks, the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year's end.” Exodus 34:22

“And the Lord said to Moses, “Write these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.””
Exodus 34:27
In the Matthew 25 parable, oil is the reference to the Spirit of God's presence in a believer’s heart and lifestyle as relates to obedience. Five is used in the parable as a reference to the five books of Moses. The five wise virgins represent believers who live by the Covenant of Israel given at Sinai... "we will do all that God says and walk as Yeshua walked in obedience to God's Word. The five unwise virgins represent believers who say God's law was hung on a cross and done away with. In the parable Yeshua teaches us to keep the light of Torah burning as a lamp. The teaching expands on the Psalm of David:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God/Elohim, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.” Psalm 51:10-12
Since you are here reading this today, I pray that you will turn to the light of the Bible, it is God's unchanging word and shows us how to discern clean from unclean. Toss out the old preconceived dark idea that began in Eden that God does not mean what He says. Read God's word for yourself and do what it says just as Jesus did. Keep God's Word and honor His Appointments and Sabbaths in humble worship because you love Him and He will honor you at His return as "the elect" as those that may approach near to Him! Don't be unprepared for the day the Bridegroom returns.

Jesus (Yeshua) says this:
"But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:23-24
Today is the time believers AND followers we must wisely walk with the light and the Spirit of God. This is God's worship plan, that we must study and act on His instruction, His "Torah" to live out the unchanging Words of God as they were intended and be filled with His Spirit. His Word gives us the light to follow.
"You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, 'Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, YHVH, sanctify you." Exodus 31:13
If believers are of a royal priesthood in Yeshua, we should walk at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty to serve God:
“Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, a minister in the holy places, in the true tent that the Lord set up, not man.” Hebrews 8:1-2
Paul also explains we must walk in Messiah's ways.
Therefore, as you received Messiah Yeshua the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Messiah. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. Colossians 2:6-10
“The night is almost gone, and the day is at hand. Let us therefore lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." Romans 13:12-14
Understanding who Jesus is whose "whole fullness of deity dwells bodily" confirms the Bible as an unchanging book so we can understand the message of Colossians 2:16-17:
Therefore let no one pass judgment on you [tell you otherwise] in questions of food and drink [God's Biblically defined diet], or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath [God's eternal Biblically appointed times]. These [God's instructions on diet, feast days and Sabbaths] are a shadow [direct representation] of the things to come [prophetic events], but the substance [their meaning] belongs to Messiah.
Never simply take my word or anyone else's, get your witness from the Scriptures.

Open and study God's word and let it be your witness for truth. The key to understanding the Bible is to understand God gives us His teaching and instruction for living because He loves us and He never changes His mind. He teaches us some very simple guidelines about how we are to live. It's the original message of the Deceiver to fall for the idea that God does not mean what He says or that He changes His mind. Don't listen to that message any longer.

What does this all mean?

It's time for you to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His word and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your coming assignment.

It means we need to know "Who is the One Called Jesus.

Consider a prayer: Please, God guide me by your Spirit as to what I should hear and do.

It's time to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His words and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your assignment.

Stretch out your hand, and take from the tree of life, and live forever.

Open a Bible, read it, listen to God's voice and do Yeshua's teaching about the forever jots and tittles.

You can learn how the things which are written in the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms are concerning Messiah and you can teach others to live life like Jesus, it's love in God's way:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17
Today is the time, open your eyes if you're dead in your own valley of dry bones.

Look up and you'll recognize Messiah from Abraham's promise passed on to Isaac and Jacob as written by Moses in the Torah. You can see Him too in the Prophets and the Writings.

Repent and walk your Emmaus Road with Messiah. Study the Scriptures He taught every Sabbath that are filled with doing life God's way in the Kingdom, and tell others about Him. Be a gatekeeper until the house is complete.
