Today, as the Assyrian Christians in present-day Syria and Iraq suffer grave tribulation, I am writing in remembrance of this week of Purim and the "star" of the story (Esther) who made intercession for the Jewish people in the Persian land of Iran.
Many say God's name is not seen in the Esther account.
It's true but... in my Scripture studies, I discovered the name Esther אֶסְתֵּר contains the Aleph Tav אֶתֵּ. These Hebrew letters combine their meanings as "strength of the covenant" and they are found over 10,000 time embedded in the Hebrew Bible. They show up too in the Newer Testament carrying a Greek disguise as the alpha and omega.
Did you know each Hebrew letter has a unique meaning? The letter meaning when combined in Scripture as Aleph and Tav אֶתֵּ reveal their purpose as the "strength of the covenant" including the Aleph Tav -אֶתֵּ inscribed in Esther 1:4:
Isaiah gives the Jewish people a prophetic account of His excellent majesty, the intercessor shown in Isaiah 53.
Judah will see Him
and believe the report!!
Here again we see the witness of Aleph Tav אֶתֵּ inserted into the prophetic words of Isaiah.
That day will be just like the days of Haman, a time of great tribulation that has not been seen "since the beginning of the world to this time." But this time it will not be Esther or King Ahasuerus that saves the Jewish people.
Coincidentally, a hundred and fourscore days is 180 days, the exact time period from the First Fruits Day of Passover to the the first day of every Sukkot Tabernacles week.
"When he showed אֶתֵּ the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honor of his excellent majesty many days, even an hundred and fourscore days."
Isaiah gives the Jewish people a prophetic account of His excellent majesty, the intercessor shown in Isaiah 53.
Here again we see the witness of Aleph Tav אֶתֵּ inserted into the prophetic words of Isaiah.
"Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of YHVH been revealed?Micah 5 gives us another witness with some details on how the one that Isaiah describes as the promised ruler to be born in Bethlehem will return as if in a future Purim scenario to cast out another siege of the Assyrians that will come to destroy.
For He comes up as a tender plant before Him, and as a Root out of a dry ground. He has no form, nor honor, when we observe Him, nor beauty, that we should desire Him. He was despised, and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.
And as one hiding His countenance from us, He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows, yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by Elohim, and afflicted.
And He was pierced for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned each to his own way, and YHVH has laid on Him אֶתֵּ the punishment of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth.
He was led as a Lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, He did not open His mouth.
By oppression and trial was taken away, and who can speak of אֶתֵּ His descendants? For He was cut off from the land of the living, for the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
And He made His grave with אֶתֵּ the wicked, and with אֶתֵּ the rich in His death, because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.
Yet it pleased YHVH to bruise Him and to cause Him to suffer, and though YHVH makes His life an offering for sin, He will see His offspring and prolong His days, and the will of YHVH will prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will give Him a portion with the great, and shall divide אֶתֵּ the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul even to death, and was numbered with אֶתֵּ the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."
That day will be just like the days of Haman, a time of great tribulation that has not been seen "since the beginning of the world to this time." But this time it will not be Esther or King Ahasuerus that saves the Jewish people.
It will be King Messiah the alpha omega - aleph tav אֶתֵּ "strength of the covenant" and He will regather all people of God together, both Jew and non-Jew among the nations to join as brothers in the family of God:
It's time to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem not its division.
God is a sovereign God. He is a loving God and He has provided a way to offer you His salvation. You can accept His gift of life. Consider carefully what your life consists of, look at it and repent of your sin, ask His forgiveness and accept His gift of love through the Jewish Messiah Yeshua.
Today is the time. If you know you need to get your life right with God, don’t wait for tomorrow, get it right with Him now!
Marshal your troops now, city of troops,What does this all mean?
for a siege is laid against us.
They will strike Israel’s אֶתֵּ ruler
on the cheek with a rod.
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.”
Therefore Israel will be abandoned
until the time when she who is in labor bears a son,
and the rest of his brothers return
to join the Israelites.
He will stand and shepherd his flock
in the strength of the LORD,
in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God.
And they will live securely, for then his greatness
will reach to the ends of the earth.
And he will be our peace
when the Assyrians invade our land
and march through our fortresses.
We will raise against them seven shepherds,
even eight commanders,
who will rule אֶתֵּ the land of Assyria with the sword,
the land of Nimrod with drawn sword.
He will deliver us from the Assyrians
when they invade our land
and march across our borders.
The remnant of Jacob will be
in the midst of many peoples
like dew from the LORD,
like showers on the grass,
which do not wait for anyone
or depend on man.
The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations,
in the midst of many peoples,
like a lion among the beasts of the forest,
like a young lion among flocks of sheep,
which mauls and mangles as it goes,
and no one can rescue.
Your hand will be lifted up in triumph over your enemies,
and all your foes will be destroyed.
“In that day,” declares the LORD,
“I will destroy your horses from among you
and demolish your chariots.
I will destroy the cities of your land
and tear down all your strongholds.
I will destroy your witchcraft
and you will no longer cast spells.
I will destroy your idols
and your sacred stones from among you;
you will no longer bow down
to the work of your hands.
I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles
when I demolish your cities.
I will take vengeance אֶתֵּ in anger and wrath
on the nations that have not obeyed me.”
Consider a prayer: Please, God, guide me as to what I should do.
It's time for you to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His word and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your coming assignment.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17If you will just check the Strong's concordance on the Greek word Lord kyrios it means this title is given to: "God, the Messiah."
If there is therefore any exhortation in Messiah, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion, make my joy full, by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind; doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
Have this in your mind, which was also in Messiah Yeshua, who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider it robbery to be equal with God, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:1-11
As therefore you received Messiah Yeshua, the Lord, walk in him, rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.Shalom ya'll.
Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Messiah.
For in him all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power; in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Messiah; having been buried with him in immersion, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. Colossians 2:6-12
