Another Perspective

Many have seen the inside of a beautiful old watch. The parts and mechanisms are all synchronized, working together in harmony to show the proper time.

In my Scripture studies, I've found that we must remember the time of the “set apart” Holy Days found in the Bible so I thought you might enjoy another perspective on God’s word and His creation, one that you may have not considered before…

It's really pretty simply, the solar system is God's master timepiece

Our Creator uses the position of the earth, moon and sun
throughout the Bible to mark His appointments.

"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years" Genesis 1:14

The solar system is owned by its Creator and He uses it to show us how to aline our time with His appointed plan for restitution of all things.

On every Biblical feast season, the earth, moon and the sun align precisely on God's schedule as the crescent moon first day comes out of its new moon transition from darkness to light for the chodesh "shofar day" with Almighty God as His creation points to the promise of joy in resurrection life after death and sin.
"Lift up a song, strike the tambourine, play the sweet-sounding harp and lyre. Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon, and at the full moon on the day of our Feast." Psalms 81:2-3
"And on your joyous occasions, your appointed feasts, and the beginning of each month, you are to blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will serve as a reminder for you before your God. I am the LORD your God." Numbers 10:10
In Numbers 10:2 God instructed the people to make two silver trumpets. Silver symbolizes redemption, throughout the Bible and the two trumpets point us toward both Jews and Gentiles, native born and sojourner that believe and follow.

A very special new moon chodesh day is the seventh, it's Yom Teruah aka Trumpets Day, literally The Day of Blasting:
"Speak to the Israelites and say, 'On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly announced by trumpet blasts." Leviticus 23:24
The return of Yeshua to Jerusalem as King Messiah will be heralded by trumpets on this day as promised in Revelation 8:6 and Revelation 8:13. Don't you think you should participate in the rehearsal?

The ten days from Trumpets to the Day of Atonement are known as "the days of awe" when the last shofar is blown on the Day of The Lord's covering.

That shofar last trumpet is noted in 1Corinthians 15:52 by the way.

Thank The Lord, that's a proof text from Paul letter that the so-called Old Testament is not old and done away with as many think. Paul was a Jew, he never started a new religion, he just explained the heart of the Bible's message to the Gentiles that had never heard it, but Gentiles can get confused reading Paul's letters because they do not have the proper Biblical foundation for them that can only be found in the Bible Paul knew its truth by heart.

But that's OK, now is the time to repent.

Pilate was confused too, but the record was set straight:

"My kingdom is not of this world... For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

Long ago, Solomon knelt and prayed boldly about what we have to do about that when he dedicated the House of God the King. In that prayer he spoke of repentance.

When Yeshua started His ministry, He always repeated the heart of the message from 2 Chronicles 6:36-42 and told us why saying, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."

It's time to know, the Day of Atonement is the big Holy Day of the last trumpet. It is the most solemn day of the year noted in the Bible for a reason. It is declared by our Creator in Numbers 29:7, Leviticus 16 and the details are found in Leviticus 23:26-32.

The Bible instructs people to be prepared for Yom Kippur as it is the day of national cleansing and repentance.  Not only that, each Jubilee year set aside for return and release of captives started on Yom Kippur. See Leviticus 25:8-54 and Isaiah 61:1-2  which Yeshua quotes in Luke 4:16-19.

You may have never heard it in a church sermon but Leviticus 16 makes clear that God has set up the Day of Atonement to "protect" people from coming into his holy presence in a sinful state and being destroyed by his consuming fire glory just as Aaron's two sons went up in smoke when they brought a strange fire before The Lord.

We all need to understand God's perspective. The graphic below shows a heavenly depiction of the moon’s alignment with the earth relative to the sun  just as it has appeared ever since creation for each and every “Day of Trumpets.”

That day and it's shofar shout sets the stage to count up to the “Last Trumpet” that arrives ten days later on Yom Kippur aka Atonement Day.

The Bible is the record and just as it described in God’s word, the exact location of the full moon on the appointed first day of “Tabernacles” moves in continuous synchronized alignment with our little blue planet as shown in the graphic below. This day is the coming “Wedding Day" of the Lamb’s Bride (see Revelation 22:17 for the promise).

God's voice never changes, neither does His heavenly timepiece.

Our solar system is always in alignment with His voice as Almighty God set its pattern at creation and began to reveal the details of His timing for His redemption plan at Mount Sinai. Thanks God its not done away with!

Shouldn't you do the same and align your time, heart and actions with God's calendar?

Malachi tells us God’s never changes. You need to know His appointments. After all they align with His creation and you can choose the participate.

All you have to do is look up to see the evidence.

My prayer is that “Believers” might be blessed TO DO something about that and understand how God's eternal promises are for today. We all, Jew or Gentile have the great privilege to synchronize our belief, faith and action with Messiah by “walking” and "keeping" The Lord's appointments just as Yeshua (Jesus) did as a faithful servant “before” He returns (please see Revelation 14:12)

Knowing the appointed times of The Lord is not a burden, its not not hard to do... just let go of theology, doctrine and tradition - believe the Bible and do it!

Do you know the Jew we call John spoke about this:
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome. 1John 5:2-3
The Jew we call James admonishes you to participate and be blessed:
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. James 1:22-25
The Jew we call Paul encourages you to not worry what others say:
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath [days] Which are a shadow of things to come... Colossians 2:16-17
"Belief" and "faith" is the talk and walk that the Psalmist wrote about:
"You have dealt well with your servant, O LORD, according to your word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word. You are good and do good; teach me your statutes." Psalms 119:65-68
What does this all mean?

It's time for you to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His word and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your coming assignment.

It means we need to know "Who is the One Called Jesus.

Consider a prayer: Please, God guide me by your Spirit as to what I should hear and do.

It's time to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His words and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your assignment.

Stretch out your hand, and take from the tree of life, and live forever.

Open a Bible, read it, listen to God's voice and do Yeshua's teaching about the forever jots and tittles.

You can learn how the things which are written in the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms are concerning Messiah and you can teach others to live life like Jesus, it's love in God's way:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17
Today is the time, open your eyes if you're dead in your own valley of dry bones.

Look up and you'll recognize Messiah from Abraham's promise passed on to Isaac and Jacob as written by Moses in the Torah. You can see Him too in the Prophets and the Writings.

Repent and walk your Emmaus Road with Messiah. Study the Scriptures He taught every Sabbath that are filled with doing life God's way in the Kingdom, and tell others about Him. Be a gatekeeper until the house is complete.

Shalom.
