The Teacher is Asking for You...

"I am the resurrection and the life.
Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,
and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.
Do you believe this?"  John 11:25-26

"Yes, Lord," she replied, "I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world." After she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside. "The Teacher is here," she said, "and is asking for you."

Many Christians meet Jesus at the cross, but in my Scripture studies I found He is not there!

He is Risen and the Teacher is asking for you!

Forty days after He arose in resurrection glory on the day of First Fruits after Passover nearly 2,000 years ago, Yeshua ascended to The Father.

The cross was not the end.

If we think the Torah was hung on the cross we miss the Gospel message in Leviticus. There we learn that sacrifice is not the death. The sacrifice is the blood offering before the presence of The LORD, the death is before the offering of atonement outside the Tabernacle.

By the quickening miracle life giving power of our Creator God, Yeshua lives in resurrection power and He has overcome the death of Adam and lives interceding as King and High Priest in the Order of Melchizedek just as the book of Hebrews describes.

He kept and is keeping the Torah of God, in the High Priestly duty and privilege to enter the Holy of Holies of Heaven to expiate sins of the people of Israel wearing only white linen garments, forgoing the the elaborate priestly vestments just as Stephen saw him as Kohen Gadol in the Holy of Holies in the Sanctuary on High standing before the very Divine Throne of Glory:
"But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” Acts 7:55-56
Nothing in His life was or is Torah-less. His death by Rome's guard occurred just outside the walls of Old Jerusalem, but the enemy's death plot failed in God's perfect plan carried out in the First Fruits' power of resurrection to eternal life given to Messiah Yeshua by Almighty God on the 3rd day. On the 40th day of the Omer count He ascended to the Heavenly throne room of the most Holy of Holies as High Priest King in the order of Melchizedek and he will return just as David declared in Psalm 110 as King and High Priest in the Order of Melchizedek.

Ten days later, on the 50th day of The Lord's appointed Omer Count up to Shavuot (Pentecost) the Spirit if God poured on the disciples like fire.

It was the day after the 7th Sabbath arrived exactly as The LORD proclaimed in Leviticus 23:1-3 when The Spirit of The LORD descended in Jerusalem.

That day, the same "Kadosh" Holy Spirit of God, the divine presence that gave life to Adam, restored the confusion that began at the Tower of Babel as the gift of speech in many languages (tongues) was granted to the disciples of Yeshua.

The gift of tongues or language of other nations was granted to the disciples so that the good news of Messiah could spread the message of repentance and the gospel of the Kingdom of God to all nations around the world that would hear it.

In the beginning, in Genesis 2:7 we are shown how the Spirit, the "Ruach" of Almighty God gave life to Adam as he arose from the dust. Matthew 28:1-10 shows us how the Ruach Spirit in Yeshua quickened resurrection life in Yeshua as He lay in the dusty tomb.

Life is God's miracle that only He can give.

Messiah Yeshua's resurrection occurred during the Unleavened Bread week on the appointed day found in the Torah. It was the Day of First Fruits fulfilling the sign of Jonah because that special day was the 3rd day that followed the crucifixion on Passover and three days of Unleavened Bread in the grave.

In the end, that same Spirit of Almighty God of Hosts will restore life as it was in Eden with the gift of resurrection from the dust. That's what salvation is. On that end day, rebirth to a transformed life will be granted so that mankind may again know The LORD and walk in first hand relationship with our Creator and Savior God.

When The Father promised Abraham that his seed (descendant) would be a blessing to all the world, He meant it. When Abraham told Issac The LORD will provide the sacrifice, he meant it.

The reason, in the end, the Kingdom of God will be made up of “all nations, and kindreds, and peoples, and tongues” ( see Revelation 7:9).

Yeshua is the "One" calling for you now and... He is risen!

But don't just believe, do something. God tells what to do through the prophet Zechariah.
Therefore say to them, Thus declares the LORD of hosts: Return to me, says the LORD of hosts, and I will return to you, says the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 1:3
This return to The LORD message is why Jesus (Yeshua) preached: "Repent for the Kingdom is near."

We return to God in repentance, (in Hebrew teshuva) it means we do something in faith, we and stop turn back to God.

The LORD of hosts' promise is if we do that He will return.

Without repentance, He's not coming and the Kingdom of God is far from us. That was the message in Yeshua's preaching in the Galilee. His gospel of God sermons were not about a beating, a Roman crucifixion cross. They were about teshuva!

By our repentance, another miracle of God's power will pour out over the earth again one day.

Repentant children of God will be blessed in grace to receive the gift of salvation and eternal life by God's Spirit, the Ruach, the wind and breath of God for those saved in resurrection life under King Messiah!

The glory road started and ends in Jerusalem with the Passover lamb of God, not an Easter ham.

Luke gives us the Passover account of Yeshua of Natzeret:
"Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

And he said unto them, Behold, when you enter into the city, there a man shall meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he enters in. And you shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guest chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

And he shall show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.  And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover;

And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide [it] among yourselves:  For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and broke [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you."  Luke 22:7-20
Passover is the first appointment of The LORD, it on God's calendar, so don't ignore it

It represents the promise of redemption and resurrection life in the Kingdom of God, whether for ancient Israel enslaved by Pharaoh, or for Jew or non-Jew today that have been enslaved to sin.

Salvation into new life's the incredible gift in the Kingdom that God promises and it all begins with the Passover for everyone.

Yeshua is the Passover Lamb of God promised to Abraham (see Genesis 22:13-14).

The binding of Isaac known in Hebrew as "the Akedah," is one of the most misunderstood prophetic mysteries of the in the Bible. The test given to Abraham had a big purpose, God showed Abraham a prophetic shadow picture of Messiah and resurrection.

Abraham was blessed, he had bound up Isaac for death, yet Isaac lived after laying willingly on that wood, but Isaac was spared.

That's why Yeshua said:
"Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see My day. He saw it and was glad.”  John 8:56
Yeshua lives and is our High Priest Messiah King to come, but He is looking for disciples.

The disciples of Yeshua were not a new idea, they are from the backstage of the Bible.

Jesus told them so, but unless you study and believe God's teaching and instruction known as The Torah, you may have missed it.

Yeshua promised the disciples that in God's kingdom they will sit on twelve thrones and judge the tribes of Israel. That promise is first seen in the book of Matthew from the teaching about salvation and the parable of a camel passing through the eye of the needle.

You can read it in Matthew 19:28:
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?"

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Peter answered him, "We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?"

Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Matthew 19:24-28 NIV
That disciple judgement to come is not condemnation. It's to govern and preside over "all Israel" with the power of making decisions with explanation from Almighty God's Torah. The disciple system goes back to the Torah portion called "Yithro" starting in Numbers 18.

There we see Moses' father in law setting the stage for Yeshua's prophetic promise.

When Jethro observed Moses serving the people, he asked, “Why do you alone sit as judge?”

Moses answered, “Because the people come to me to seek God’s will.”

Jethro pointed out that Moses was preventing everyone from knowing God's will. He suggested Moses delegate his responsibilities to the leaders of the families of Israel. Jethro's advice explained how to properly administer and teach God’s Torah principles among people. Moses was then able to take on difficult cases if they occurred and it provided encouragement for everyone else (see Exodus 18:19-27).

This is the story you may have never connected to the reason Yeshua called out His disciples. The account of Jethro wraps up as shown below and it provides the Torah outline for the very reason Yeshua taught His disciples Torah principles:
Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave.
But select capable men from all the people--men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain--and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.
Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you.
If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied."
Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said. He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. Exodus 18:20-25 NIV
Paul detailed the requirements for leadership to his understudy Timothy, and it's the message shown above. You can find that in 1Timothy 3.

No need to believe me if you doubt the disciple connection to Jethro's advice, believe Jesus:
"For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me." John 5:46
Yeshua, the teacher is calling you too.
If you'd like to learn more about God's restoration plan, both fulfilled and to come through God's ordained appointments with Messiah, you need to know The Father's seven appointed and Holy Feast Day's and take part in them. Each is a repentant turn in a great rehearsal for the Kingdom of God to come.
Believe me, you do not want to might miss your appointment on God's calendar!

Thank God the Torah, the Sabbaths and Feasts of The LORD are not old and done away with. If they were, we could not count on Messiah to share again in the Passover to come that He promised His disciples.

Matthew gives us a second witness to the Day of First Fruits:
"In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead [men]. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not: for I know that you seek Yeshua, which was crucified.
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there shall you see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Yeshua met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshiped him.
Then said Yeshua unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him [away] while we slept.

And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Yeshua had appointed them. When they saw him, they worshipped him, but some doubted.

And Yeshua came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world." Amen. Matthew 28:1-20

What does this all mean?

The Teacher is Calling for You! It means that it is now time for all of us to repent and return to God's covenant, return to hear and do His word and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your coming assignment.

God is a sovereign God. He is a loving God, a Holy God and He has provided a way to offer you salvation.

God's lovingkindness and grace extends from one end of the Bible to the other. There is a name by which you can be saved. It was declared by Yeshua in His priestly prayer:

“I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.” John 17:6

“And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare [it:] that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:27

You can accept God's gift of life. Believe on Yeshua, believe on His name, it is your salvation.

Consider carefully what your life consists of, look at it and repent of your sin, ask His forgiveness and accept His gift of love through Messiah Yeshua. You can do it now!

"The Teacher is here and is calling for you." John 11:28

To learn more about "The Teacher" that is calling for you consider this study: Who is the One Called Jesus?

And to learn more about the season of Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits watch the awesome video below and consider reading these studies: The Feasts of The Lord and Do As The Disciples Did - Count the Omer.

These days are the Feasts of The Lord, so we should not let the Feast Days of YHVH suffer from neglect, let's celebrate them!

With God there is always a second chance. To prove it God even commanded a second Passover.

Yeshua is "The One" that is risen!

What does this all mean?

It's time to hear the teacher. Time to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His words and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your assignment.

Stretch out your hand, and take from the tree of life, and live forever.

Open a Bible, read it, listen to God's voice and do Yeshua's teaching about the forever jots and tittles.

You can learn how the things which are written in the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms are concerning Messiah and you can teach others to live life like Jesus, it's love in God's way:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17
Today is the time, open your eyes if you're dead in your own valley of dry bones.

Look up and you'll recognize Messiah from Abraham's promise passed on to Isaac and Jacob as written by Moses in the Torah. You can see Him too in the Prophets and the Writings.

Repent and walk your Emmaus Road with Messiah. Study the Scriptures He taught every Sabbath that are filled with doing life God's way in the Kingdom, and tell others about Him. Be a gatekeeper until the house is complete.

Shalom.
