The End Days?

Many here in America cannot find the United States in the Bible so some ignore prophecy.

But in my Scripture studies I found ignoring 80% of the Bible does not make it go away.

America, we need to remember, in God's eyes the good 'ol USA is not the "Promised Land."

Yet many seem to think and act as if it is. Perhaps that's why many look for "America" in the Bible and are disheartened when they do not find it there.

Regarding the land of the bald eagle, perhaps the best reference found in Scripture is the fact that God says His people will be dispersed "far away" from His Promised Land. In fact, Jerusalem is on the other side of the planet which shows us when God said scattered and dispersed, He meant it.

His words are sure and true. Does that ring your Liberty Bell?

Some people, whether preppers, Bible believers or both say that “the end times” (in Hebrew geula) may soon arrive, but what does God’s word say about these things? Is there an "end of time" in the Bible?

Almighty God's eternal words and prophecies are many and there is no one short answer, but we need to search the Scriptures and open the Bible to find the truth.

The words... “end times” are a misunderstood label, so is the word "tribulation." They are misused every day as they have morphed into meanings that do not fully align with Scripture. As you will see when you look at God's word for yourself, our Creator and Savior speaks of the “latter days.” He speaks of calamity but the absolute focus is on restoration.

So we need to know what "latter days" mean. The latter days of what?

If we are to understand those days, we need to understand restoration because the latter days are about healing the divide.

The end days are not the end of the world
They are the end of exile.

We know we are in the end days because God is faithful to His promises and those include the Jewish people. The big time marker followed the tribulation of the holocaust when God's word seen in Isaiah 66:8 was fulfilled May 18, 1948 and the nation of Israel was born in a day.

The end days tie to God's 7,000 year plan, His "week" for mankind on Earth before a new beginning restoring Heaven and Earth.

Scripture tells us a day is like a thousand years. This calibration for the time windows of God's plan of restoration follows the pattern of creation is declared in Psalm 90:4
"A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night."
Just as mankind, aka Adam and Eve were created in day six in the garden, the nation state of Israel was reborn in 1948, some 6,000 years later.

The disciple Peter reminded the dispersed of Israel of this big picture timeline. He wrote to those not living in the Promised Land when he addressed his letter to the scattered sheep throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia. Look at 2 Peter 3:8 for yourself: "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day."

To understand the end days, we have to realize the miracle birth of Messiah Yeshua when He came to live among men in the fourth day of humanity. He arrived 4,000 years after the days of Eden, it was 1000 years from Adam to Noah, 1,000 years to Abraham, 1,000 years to David and 1,000 years to Messiah King Yeshua.

The names of these four all point to the millennium restoration purpose... Adam, Noah, David and Yeshua mean: mankind rest beloved salvation.

Just as a week has seven days, once we get past the 4th day, 'the middle of each week', we are entering into the last days of the timeline. Days 5 and 6 are the last days of toil and work, the latter days before the Sabbath rest on the 7th day.

That seventh day of The Lord is the millennium.

Right now, we are are approaching the end of day 6, and latter day prophetic time has passed two days or 2,000 years since Yeshua walked around Israel declaring repentance.

That is why Paul wrote this midrash of Messiah in 1 Corinthians 15:45:
"So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being;” the last Adam a life-giving spirit."
Paul is pointing us to the truth that the Isaiah tells us: God declares the end from the beginning.

When we consider the creation week of Genesis, we realize that day six is the day that God created mankind and the same day that Adam and Eve rebelled.

That rebellion is seen all around us today in day sis.

We see it in the spiritual vortex of the Old City of Jerusalem where spoken prayer to the God of Israel is abolished in desolation atop the Temple Mount. We see no Temple but we have the Al Aksa Mosque and the Dome of Rock declaring the worship of a false God without a son called Allah.

Paul was a Jew and a Pharisee and he taught people using Jewish concepts that Christians don't understand because the church turned its back away thanks to people like Constantine and the so-called church fathers that hated the Jews, opposed the Sabbath and The Feasts of The Lord because faithful Jewish people honored them.

Paul spoke to the week of mankind in the plan of God when He referenced the prophetic Psalm, the "watch in the night": "Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night." 1 Thessalonians 5:1-2

There's much more here than meets the western eye when we put on Hebrew glasses to study the message of the Bible.

For a better understanding we might turn to The Temple Institute to learn about the Levitical 'watch' over the Temple which consisted of four watches, each of three hours when they patrolled and safeguarded the Holy Place of The Temple:
"The sages of the Mishna (Midot 1:2) provide a vivid description of the nightly routine in the Holy Temple with regard to these watches, and the manner in which they were rendered.

"Each night, the supervisor of all the watches patrols the Temple Mount, inspecting each and every watch. Burning torches are borne before him (in order for the guards to recognize that it is he), and if perchance he encounters a watchman who does not rise up before him, the supervisor cries out to him: "Peace be unto you!" But if the supervisor receives no reply, it is obvious that the guard has been caught asleep. He would then rap the sleeping levite with his stick; the supervisor was even empowered to set his covering on fire (as a punishment for not carrying out his duty properly).

Everyone within earshot who heard the cries of the unfortunate sleeper would say what is that noise in the court? Oh, it is the sound of a levite who has been rapped, and his covering set alight, for he has fallen asleep on his watch.'"
As you can see, the night watchman's untimely nap by a sleeping Levite, was rudely taken away. Like a thief, his rest was taken in the night by the supervisor. This explanation is also given by pastor Alfred Edersheim in Chapter 7 (At Night in the Temple) of his book" "The Temple: Its Ministry and Services."

The "watch" is Paul's message as he refers in Hebrew idiom to a night in the service of the Temple of the living Messiah.

Paul's warning applies to you and me. If you are of Messiah, you are literally the Temple as the Holy Spirit of the living God dwells within you because you are covered in the blood of Messiah.

We are in the last watch. We must stay awake and be on the alert in these latter days or we will find ourselves waking up with our pants on fire.

Simply put, the latter days are not the misused words so many call destruction or the “end of the world.”

If we look across the vista of God's word, we can see that the latter days are Biblically defined as the end of the prescribed time of the end of the dispersion and separation of God’s people. That's one reason it is so fascinating to see that Peter wrote to the sojourners of Israel that were not living in the Promised Land 2,000 years ago.

God promised Abraham and He engaged Moses to lead the twelve tribes AND the strangers and sojourners traveling with them out of Egypt and through the wilderness to hear, and follow God in the ways that e taught them. God will do this again.

Think about this for a moment...

If the end of the world is only through global destruction,
Why on earth would Jesus want to return here?

Why return to an annihilated planet aglow from nuclear destruction?

The revelation is that the Bible is all about the restoration of His Kingdom which will have no end. That is the story from the beginning and it is why the last question the disciples asked Yeshua Jesus was:
“... is this the time you will restore the Kingdom to Israel?” Acts 1:6
They knew the ultimate story line of the Bible. They knew the latter days are about the end of separation from God and His word, marked by the scattering of His people around the globe.

The disciples knew the promise of kingdom restoration, they understood Eden's creation as the theme, not a destructive end of the world in the sixth day. They knew Eve's creation foretold resurrection and they knew of the Kingdom promise of restoration by Messiah, they just did not know the time.

They knew that the Kingdom promise is all about the restoration of God's people... a people He calls Israel.

Make no mistake, if we are to begin to understand what they asked, if we are to see the Bible the way they did under the Master Rabbi's instruction, if we are to understand the latter days, both Christians and Jews need to know who they are "in relation" to each other, both joined to the Lord.

We must all know that the end of the age, the latter days of our separation from each other as two brothers will be restored as it was in the beginning 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem - one in Messiah

This is what God speaks of, the end of the age of our dispersion as a family of God as "Lost Sheep", as exiles divided from each other and our King Messiah. We both look and await for Messiah. Some for His first coming others for His second, but He is the same Messiah.

The end is all about the end of this division, the end of this exile as brothers just a Joseph was separated from his eleven brothers in Egypt.  The coming restoration will be just as it was in Egypt when Joseph stood before his brothers but they did not recognize him.

Like the famine that drove them together, God has use the great horror and calamity of the holocaust to begin to bring about His ultimate objective.

Over 100 times the prophets declare the phrase “in that day” as God talks about His “day” so we need to look at that, remember it and not listen so closely to to others while getting wrapped up in a tradition and misinformed teachings.

The end of the calamity is before us today. It was engaged in November 1947 when the Un voted for the formation of a nation state for the Jewish people, it was ramped up in June 1967 when the Temple Mount was restored to Israel.

Today, we need to open our eyes and see that "the world" opposes God's plan of restoration as it seeks to divide Jerusalem and divide "The West Bank" shown in Scripture as Judaea and Samaria as well as the Hills of Ephraim.

Many in the MidEast that live in and surround Israel today seek to divide and destroy as they see a divided nation as the stepping stone to their ultimate goal of destruction by Jihad declared by the Palestinian National Covenant, the PLO Charter and the words of the Ayatollahs of Iran.

Charter One of the Fateh Constitution state this as it goal in Article 12:

"Complete liberation of Palestine , and eradication of Zionist economic, political, military and cultural existence."

ATEH's constitution, Article 19, declares:

“Armed struggle is a strategy and not a tactic, and the Palestinian Arab People's armed revolution is a decisive factor in the liberation fight and in uprooting the Zionist existence, and this struggle will not cease unless the Zionist state is demolished and Palestine is completely liberated.”

The Bible was written about the Land of Israel and the people called Israel. The book of Joshua describes conflict in the land. Nothing has changed.

So, wake up, your pants are on fire! Open your eyes and you will see the deception which wears the disguise of a peace plan which Isaiah calls the controversy of Zion.

The nations of our planet want to establish a land for the Palestinians that seek to destroy. God told Obadiah what would happen “in that day,” it’s all there so take a look at the future:
Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise [men] out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau? Obadiah 1:8

For [thy] violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever. Obadiah 1:10

For the day of the LORD [is] near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head. Obadiah 1:15
To understand more about the word "violence" given here by Obadiah, just play the audio found at the link above and listen carefully to the Hebrew word, it is Hamas.

God tells Obadiah about the end of the captivity of "the host" known as the lost sheep in their scattering. He tells of the restoration of the Jews who will for be the final exiles of Jerusalem when it is divided for the last time. Obadiah tells of the coming judgment of those that oppose God’s people and of the judgment of those that now come against Jerusalem:
And the exiles of this host of the sons of Israel, Who are among the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, And the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the cities of the Negev. The deliverers will ascend Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Esau, And the kingdom will be the LORD'S. Obadiah 1:20-21
This prophecy tells the story we now see in the headline news. It is the plan to divide Jerusalem and Israel. This plan is supported today by President Obama as he supports the opponents of Israel. This has been the case for a long time.

This conflict is ancient. It started with Cain and righteous Abel.

It is seen again with Isaac and Ishmael and one day, on “the day” of The Lord, King Yeshua will personally deal with the ancient conflict when the desolation and abomination atop the Temple Mount comes to a head.

Regrettably, our government leaders in Washington D.C. have supported the U.N. plan to divide the land so I pray for that to change in repentance. We still have time.

We in the U.S. are among the four key proponents including the U.N., Europe and Russia, to divide Israel into two states as well as Jerusalem to make it an international city controlled by the U.N.

This group is known as "The Quartet" yet God says judgment will come to "all" that divide the Holy city.

The coming day then for America presents a grave problem for our nation as we lead the way to divide God's land.

Part of out problem is we don't know history.

Little known fact... in 1776, July 4th was Tammuz 17.

That's the day the Jerusalem walls were breached by Rome's Legions, the day the tablets were broken at the sight of the golden calf.

My guess is Haym Salomon was fasting as a member of Congregation Mikveh Israel in Philadelphia and missed out on the declaration's signing party.

He's the amazing Jewish man that financed George Washington's troops in the revolution. He passed away without a dime to his name as the new government never repaid him, not sure perhaps he never asked for repayment or issued a loan document.

For those that are still faithful to the Word of God like Haym Salomon, that love America and at the same time pray for the peace of Jerusalem it's time to see Yeshua for who He is. He's not Catholic, not Methodist or a Baptist, He's Jewish.

The future may be much like "the day" that God saved Jacob’s family from the slavery of Egypt's Pharaoh that "knew not" Joseph.

Like the tribulation in Egypt, difficult times are certain, but Almighty God speaks through His prophets of a coming time like the first Exodus and a time before that great day like "the day" experienced by Jacob when he sent his family into the Promised Land across the Jabbok brook after leaving Mahanaim (Genesis 32:22).

Many refer to the future time as a "Greater Exodus."

A modern day reverse exodus has already begun. Israel Today tells us: "Christian populations across the Middle East are shrinking, especially among the Palestinian Arabs":
Modern Day Exodus: the Palestinian Christians - Part I
Modern Day Exodus: the Palestinian Christians - Part II
Modern Day Exodus: the Palestinian Christians - Part III
Despite what we see there is a "Greater Exodus" of restoration coming.

Jeremiah 16:14-15 records what God proclaims, that an exodus from the ends of the earth will be so big, so dramatic that it will make people forget about the first exodus from the land of Egypt. It's already begun, it started in May 1948.

It is a part of God's future plan of restoration for Israel:
"Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks."
If you want to be one of the fisherman Jeremiah writes of, you have to remember something, Esther likely dealt with her fear before she confronted Haman before the king. The coming tribulation days will also be like "the day" that Haman sought to destroy the Jewish people and like "the day" that Amalek fought against Israel in Rephidim as they journeyed toward the Promised Land.

The armies of Israel, the host would have never defeated them had it not been for the prophetic raised hand of Moses.

That story is a prophecy in itself, a prophecy of the coming work of Messiah as He too will raise his hand against those that oppose His people. Just on the horizon is "the day" that the people God calls "Israel" will require the hand of Messiah to save them. Ezekiel gives us the sequence of events in Ezekiel 36-39.

If you don't want to be blindsided in your sleep, you must search the answer to the question: Who is Israel?

The Torah gives us the story of Amalek. It was given that our generation may see:
And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek [was] the first of the nations; but his latter end [shall be] that he perish for ever. Numbers 24:20

Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance to possess it, [that] thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget [it]. Deuteronomy 25:19
Today, on the 4th of July, Americans celebrate our Day of Independence, but the Bible is not focused on Washington D.C. nor New York City our first capital. the Bible's focus is on Jerusalem and a people that follow The Lord through the wilderness of nations to prepare the land for the Messiah.

America was founded by a move of the Spirit of God. When ever there is a move of His Spirit over the face of the earth to shed light and truth, there is always an opposition from Satan to deceive, confuse and spread darkness.

Those that came to America as our founders sought truth and they warned that freedom depends on virtue and righteousness people. That's why our original public schools were established as places to learn the Bible and each school began day with prayer.

But all that has changed and the current state of our nation shows us that our founding fathers were correct. In 1796, George Washington counseled us in his farewell address:
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports."

"It is substantially true that virtue or morality is a necessary spring of popular government."

"As a very important source of strength and security, cherish public credit. One method of preserving it is to use it as sparingly as possible..."

"In offering to you, my countrymen, these counsels of an old and affectionate friend, I dare not hope they will make the strong and lasting impression I could wish; that they will control the usual current of the passions, or prevent our nation from running the course which has hitherto marked the destiny of nations."
We need to go back and look at what our first President warned of. More importantly though, we need to know that God declares the end from the beginning.

For now, the faithful in America are dispersed on this globe like ancient Israel among a few "heathen" as the agenda is set for the coming fall elections. An election in which many states will choose to legalize marijuana and gay marriage. But, the same is true today as it was yesterday judgment will come without repentance. George Washington understood the Bible, we must too.

Funny thing though, before you jump to a conclusion and assume judgment on my use of that "olde" English word "heathen" you need to know something. That English word, found in the King James Bible is actually pagan.

Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary sheds some light saying:

"GEN'TILE, noun [Latin gentilis; from Latin gens, nation, race; applied to pagans.]

In the scriptures, a pagan; a worshipper of false gods; any person not a Jew or a christian; a heathen."

Mr. Webster points to the issue of idol practices as being their character distinction. They were linked to the heathens, the image-worshippers according to the 1880 McClintock and Strong Biblical Cyclopedia:

"As to the religion of heathenism, it is "a wild growth on the soil of fallen human nature, a darkening of the original consciousness of God's deification of the rational and irrational creature, and a corresponding corruption of the moral sense, giving the sanction of religion to natural and unnatural vices...."

Paul agrees with Noah Webster, he called the Ephesians “former Gentiles”… you once were separate, excluded "strangers" from Messiah and the identity of none other than… Israel!
“Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles… remember that you were at that time separate from Messiah, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world” Ephesians 2:11-12
So reconsider, when you say, I am a "Gentile" Believer, are you actually saying "I am a no God heathen"?

I don't think you mean to do that.

That's why you need to look at the Bible from a Hebrew lens and why you must not be a victim of identity theft from a Biblical perspective. Turn back, repent. Don't let church replacement theology or dispensationalism dim the light of truth that the Bible is all about.

It teaches of adoption inheritance and "grafting" not replacement. It teaches of the surname Israel, the family name for God's children. That's not my idea, check out Isaiah:

One shall say, I [am] the LORD'S; and another shall call [himself] by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe [with] his hand unto the LORD, and surname [himself] by the name of Israel. Isaiah 44:5

There is a coming time of refining in the fire, but it has a eternal purpose in discipline. God tells us His ultimate plan for America and the rest of the nations across the globe:
I will disperse you among the nations and scatter you through the countries; and I will put an end to your uncleanness. Ezekiel 22:15
Today, like ancient northern Israel, many people, like those in America, Canada, South America, Europe, Russia and other nations have tossed the Bible and Biblical faith aside.

In the good 'ol USA, we have pushed prayer and the Ten Commandments out of our classrooms by our courts. We even encourage a great abomination of deception called "Planned Parenthood" that like the worship of Molech, murders unborn children and deprives them of life through so-called “choice” subsidized by government funding.

That MUST stop now!!

There are also those that seek the lifestyle of Sodom across the planet. They reject God and follow man, they en-scribe a choice to desecrate the rainbow and break the two greatest commandments declared by Yeshua (see Matthew 22:36-39).

The fact is God's people are dispersed. We have been in a period of divine judgment, the one God declared to Ezekiel and to Hosea. But there is a great purpose and mystery to this dispersion... Almighty God will put an end to uncleanliness and restore the planet.

Believers are to return to God's teaching and instruction, His Torah, the same Torah Yeshua taught. He never did away with it, He kept it and taught others to do the same.

Joseph’s exile that was directed by God was engaged for saving all Israel during famine, our present scattering and dispersion has done the same as it allows God to bring us back to Him from a famine of His word. But how?

This scattering mysteriously gives God fearing people the opportunity to spread His gospel of The Kingdom around the globe like seeds in the sand that cover the earth and the stars that surround it.

That's why God's promise to Abraham was likened to the sand and the stars (see Genesis 22:17-18).

Consider this time lapse with photography from NASA that gives a great two minute visualization of God's plan as promised to Abraham.

Just look at the lights around the Earth and consider God's voice as He promised Abraham "all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice" as you see these images assembled by Tomislav Safundžić that begin with non other than a flyover of Egypt and Israel. I recommend viewing it in full screen HD mode at Vimeo.

The time of the end is upon the world, the "latter days" of the separation and scattering of God's people around the globe and the "latter days" of separation from each other and Messiah that the prophets of the Bible speak of.

Difficulties will get the world's attention for the last time with judgment on the nations to put "the elect" into complete reliance on God for both native born and sojourner as it was during the wilderness exodus journey. Take note, during the Exodus, Judah always led the way through the wilderness.

In World War II, Judah suffered the great tribulation before Israel;'s restoration.

I believe that God will provide safety for the remnant of His "elect" just as He did long ago when they left Egypt. Those that doubted God died in the wilderness, but two witnesses of the houses of Judah and Ephraim both believed and walked with His pillar of fire until they arrived at the Jordan and crossed over into the Promised Land together.

Do you remember what happened after 9/11?

Almost everyone returned to prayer, to helping each other but it did not last.

The ancient time of separation, the time judgment declared by God to His "lost sheep" people Israel, is now ending in this latter generation. Just as the Bible tells us, God's people are now dispersed like wheat around the world, not yet restored as an echad people group.

We are not quite ready, but harvest is near.

Israel, as a people of God have been both "blind and crippled." One seeing the word of God and living it but not seeing two trips for Messiah, just one. The other thinking Jesus started a new religion as they stumble in a walk within the light of God's Word for life in the Kingdom, His Torah.

The harvest, the gathering of the "Lost Sheep" is the promised restoration, the healing of the families of Israel (both Judah and the other lost sheep) and their return to hear and walk together in the blessed instruction of The Father.

This is why Yeshua, the living word of God healed the deaf, the lame and the blind, to show all of us our future.
"And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not - might see..." (see John 9:39). "And great multitudes came unto him, having with them [those that were] lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them" Matthew 15:30
Those miracle healings were real and they point to the bigger story of a restored family both native born and sojourner. The Bible refers to the coming "healing" of the nations as the fall harvest of wheat continues. Matthew describes the prophetic future, our future "in that day" as he paints the prophetic picture from Isaiah's scroll:
And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. Matthew 21:14

And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. Isaiah 29:18

They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine. Isaiah 29:24
So here we are, in the latter day of wandering in blindness or with a crippled walk on the soil of the nations whose laws and statutes once again seek to oppose God and His holy name.

So, we must remember, the healing theme of Yeshua's first earthly ministry was for the disabled. He did this as a sign for the unbelieving, He did this out of deep love for the afflicted and He did this as a prophetic example of the coming day of His return to harvest the wheat sown among the tares.

As a people we must repent from a disabled walk and in Spirit and truth return to Torah, we need to get ready for the journey home.

Life in the land will be given to those living in the walk of Messiah and faith of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. That is our inheritance.

The Bible repeatedly tells us that the scattering will come to an end in the latter days, but much must happen and it has already begun. Just read your Bible to see the headlines. God has a plan, and it will be played out with a focus on the Middle East stage, the "Bible" lands.

His plan is outlined in the seven Feasts of The Lord, the same plan since the days of Eden and we are now entering the appointed time of the Fall Feasts. Yes, we are approaching the end of the separation time given "all" Israel, both Ephraim and Judah, the end of the captivity to sin and the scattering from the place of His name and presence.

The King is returning, but there is no "any moment" immediacy return, God's plan has an order marked by the six days of the creation and the prophetic message embedded in the Feasts of The Lord.

Tribulation has occurred with Judah and it is spreading to the nations in many parts of the world. Just look at Nigeria as a prophetic example.

Biblical prophecies morphed from dull gray photos to full 3-D color as we watched events in Iraq unfold on "Shushan Purim" on March 19, 2003.

Some have even said that perhaps Sadaam Hussein and Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are descendants of Amalek and Haman. If not, most certainly the desire if those leading Iran with the goal for the destruction of Israel is a nightmare ready to unfold.

Now, in North Africa - from Tunisia to Lybia and into Egypt – the revived land of the Ptolemaic Empire, the land of the "King of the South" we have seen the burden of Egypt prophecy enter the news headlines. Bible believers should know that dramatic prophetic events are unfolding before our eyes. It started in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And it's moving to Syria and heaven help us, a nuclear Iran.

Prophecy follows a rule of Torah, there must be two or three witnesses.

We are seeing Daniel's visions before "The Lord's Day" as events in the volatile Middle East heat up repeating the history of 300 BC and the story line of the conquest and empires of Alexander the Great just before Messiah Yeshua's "first" coming.

Following Alexander's death, the nations of the North were eventually ruled by Alexander's General Seleucus I Nicator who assumed power in the nations we know today as Syria, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq as well as Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan.

Seleucus' focus was Persia, ancient Syria and Iran. He was eventually succeeded in the chain of leadership by Antiochus IV Epiphanes who was king at Antioch, today's Antakya, Turkey. Antiochus Epiphanes whose Greek name means “God Manifest” outlawed the Torah when he took over Jerusalem and ordered the sacrifice of swine to his idol. A time when he commanded the Scriptures to be put in the Temple of God, and burned.

In the south, General Ptolemy I Soter ruled the Ptolemaic Kingdom from Egypt where he declared himself Pharaoh. The geography of that kingdom extended from the exact north African areas we can see today as the nations of the Arab Spring stretch from Tunisia to Lybia and Egypt.

We will experience more crisis there because each now have the radical Sunni Islamist Muslim Brotherhood is alive. The Brotherhood slogan is "Islam is the solution" and "jihad is our way."

Today, the Temple Mount remains in Islam's control under the rule of the Muslim Waqf from Amman, Jordan and that's a part of the conflict of good vs. evil. Radicals scream Allah Akbar.

On 9/11, I heard that for the first time from those that follow Ishmael and soon I learned it means Allah is greater.

It's true Abraham asked God to extend His covenant to the descendants of Ishmael, but that wasn't the plan. Almighty God had another one, yet He promised to make a nation from Ishmael but He gave His covenant promises to Isaac's descendants.

Today we have the Middle East conflict which has spread globally as the conflict of extreme radical Islam which asks the original deception, did God really say??

Today, there's a Sunni-Shi'ite divide. It had its birth in the days after Muhammad passed away.

When he died, a Shi'ite group believed Islam's leadership should remain in Muhammad's family bloodline. The Shiites are a minority and still believe the caliphate was promised to Muhammad's nephew Ali and Muhammad's daughter, Fatimah.

Meanwhile, the Sunnis are in the majority today and they believe Muhammad did not designate a family successor to his leadership so they elected one, their own caliph.

The cycle of Biblical history is repeating, but as it was in the past, Muslims need Jesus too. As foretold by Ezekiel:
"I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD. Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there: Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee." Ezekiel 35:9-11
If you ansi me, the story line of Sunni vs. Shii'te is the mixture of Daniel's clay and iron that is now emerging with the threat of the blowing the shofars and the Jewish people out of the Middle East with war.

If a nuclear Iran escalates, it will involve terror, conflict and despair for Israel, the Mideast world and for America in the end.

Perhaps like the six Syrian Wars, the battles between these ancient empires that occurred just before Yeshua's first coming will repeat before the "Day of the Lord"...
"You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end." Matthew 24:6
To make some prophetic sense of what we now see developing, we ought to consider that the Caliphate was abolished after World War I.

Many have forgetten that "the Caliphate" fought in the "war of the empires" which included the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the German Empire, the Russian Empire, the British Empire and the Ottoman Empire.

For one reason or another, people forget these empires fell after the first 'Great War' but did they?

They don't remember that the Caliphate was based in Constantinople, Turkey (now renamed Istanbul) and its empire covered the same geography of the northern Seleucid and southern Ptolemaic Empires.

Folks, these are the very same lands that are now uprising in threat and revolt today.

But why?

Because the prince of the kingdom of Persia is still alive and dangerous (see Daniel 10:13-14).

All the prophets have many things to say about what God told them about “The Day.” These include the words of three witnesses and the key words that God uses are about His people.

Divided outside of God's reign, they are called Ephraim and Judah, united they are grafted into the restored Kingdom of Israel, the "Kingdom Come" (see Zechariah 14:8-9, Isaiah 11:1-13, Revelation 20:1-6).

Zechariah gives us the prophecy of how God's people will overcome the revived Ptolemaic and Seleucid kingdoms of the Greek Empire that actually established the birth of what we now call democracy. The rule of the people has been re-established within the Mid East elections following the Arab Spring uprisings.

More conflict is coming:
"When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man." Zechariah 9:13
To better understand the coming "latter days" tribulation from God’s perspective, we must look at the witness of Jeremiah:
And these [are] the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

Alas! for that day [is] great, so that none [is] like it: it [is] even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, [that] I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make [him] afraid. For I [am] with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise [is] incurable, [and] thy wound [is] grievous. And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done [it], and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it. Jeremiah 30:4-24
Jeremiah talks about God's Pillar of Fire, His whirlwind and cloud of glory fire that allows no man with sin to approach near to God.

Many people do not understand or fear the glory cloud of fire and whirlwind of our Almighty Creator God Sovereign of the Universe but we need to, we must because it is not an allegory. It is the same one as witnessed by all of Israel when they came out of Egypt and the same spoken of by Isaiah when he wrote:
Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel ("lion of God"), even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision. Isaiah 29:6-7

And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of [his] anger, and [with] the flame of a devouring fire, [with] scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. Isaiah 30:30

And the people shall be [as] the burnings of lime: [as] thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire. Isaiah 33:12
It is the fire that Revelation 20:7-9 describes:
"And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
We also have the witness of Zechariah, who speaks of the arrival of Messiah after Jerusalem is attacked by those countries that now surround and oppose Jerusalem:
“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. Zechariah 14:1-4
Joel is another witness of the end days events noting the time of God’s coming day as he gives a dire warning for those nations that will divide His land. We see this in the headlines daily. Like ancient Assyria, whose kingdom was destroyed by the Babylonians and the Medes, another people will also meet the same fate Joel foretold as prophesied in Matthew 25:
Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Joel 1:15

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand Joel 2:1
Notice below that Ephraim/Joseph is not yet present as part of the restored Kindgom in Jerusalem within Joel's prophecy. That is true today. Also take note that Jehoshaphat is not a known Biblical place, but it does mean: "YHVH judges."
For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and [for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided my land. Joel 3:1-2

Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness [is] great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD [will be] the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall ye know that I [am] the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more. Joel 3:12-17
Ezekiel was given the same truth as a witness to the restoration of God’s divided people into His Kingdom. He was told of the salvation and restoration of the Kingdom of Israel, a restoration of both Judah and Ephraim/Joseph with Messiah Yeshua as King in the line of David as we return to God Torah instruction so that we are prepared to receive God’s 8th covenant, His covenant of Peace:
The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou [meanest] by these?

Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

And David my servant [shall be] king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David [shall be] their prince for ever.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peacewith them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore. Ezekiel 37:15-28
Isaiah tells us of the great mission of Messiah:
And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the nations, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Isaiah 49:6
In the latter days, a lot has to happen. Messiah Yeshua, Jesus gave us a series of signs that must occur before He returns.

First, He warns that many will suffer through a devastating period of natural catastrophes and war. The conflict we call it the "Great Tribulation." God calls it Jacob's Trouble. It is the discipline of God’s people, like a fire that refines silver, not a final judgment of evil, that is the wrath of God that destroys evil. That is wrath, the stern indignation of God. The tribulation is not the destruction of mankind, it is not the plague of God's glory to be seen on the day of judgement. It is Jacob's Trouble that awakens him to repent so that he may repent and be saved from wrath.

Let me repeat 1Timothy 5:9-10: "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Yeshua Messiah. Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him."

Yeshua-Jesus told us about the coming calamities, the great tribulation of His elect people. Its purpose is the engage repentance within the hearts of all people so that they turn back (repent) and turn to Messiah:
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved [alive]; but for the elect those days will be shortened. Matthew 24:21–22
The tribulation, the trouble of Jacob is a refining fire that engages the promises God gave all the prophets. The Bible repeats the story over and over so that we know without a doubt, that His promises are true. The promises given by each prophet are all the same: restoration to God's word, to each other, to His land and His leadership as King. Before this restoration, Israel and Judah are not the same in faith, they are divided over Messiah and His Torah. That is what confuses people. They are separated before the latter days, but they will both return:
For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and> Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. Jeremiah 30:3
Judah will lead. In the Bible, Judah always led the way into battle. Judah leads the return as well because the Lord said so:
And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. Zechariah 2:11
Other promises include:
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. Daniel 12:10

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Hosea 6:2

In that day I will restore David's fallen tent. I will repair its broken places, restore its ruins, and build it as it used to be (NIV) Amos 9:11

He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, [and] the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. Micah 7:19-20

At that time will I bring you [again], even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD. Zephaniah 3:20

And I am very sore displeased with the heathen [that are] at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction. Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem. Zechariah 1:15-16

And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they [shall be as] the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. Zechariah 9:16
When the city of Jerusalem is attacked once again, we will be shown what the Bible calls the "abomination of desolation" on the Temple Mount and we will hear the words of the deceiver.

God has told us that Jerusalem is again to be surrounded by armies (Zechariah 12:2), and Yeshua warns those who are faithful to escape quickly when this desecration takes place. "Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes" see Matthew 24:17–18.

Like the Feast Days of The Lord, history and the future is a cycle on God's calendar. There is a parallel to the desolation of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem as prayer is not allowed there today. In the time of Antiochus Epiphanes, some 160 years before the first arrival of Messiah Yeshua, pigs were sacrificed as offerings by the pagan Greek upon the Altar of God and a statue of Zeus, the Greek god, was set up. Something similar now occurs there as the Al Aksa Mosque and the dome of the Rock defile the sanctuary.

Perhaps the pivotal Scripture for understanding what we now see occurring today is found in the 26th chapter of Isaiah where God tells us: "I declare the end from the beginning." By these words, God tells us we have to go to the beginning to understand the end.

The coming events in the places of the Bible describes will repeat again. It will also be a time when we rightly understand that the identity of God's children is actually found in the name 'Israel', not in any identity we give ourselves.

Then, we will understand that this prophetic chapter takes on a "renewed" meaning. This prophecy is urgently talking about ancient Israel and about those that "follow Him" today, a people the God of Israel, calls 'Israel'. They are a people who now witness the latter day abomination of desolation as prayer has been outlawed at the house of God.

Jeremiah 30:7 tell us that God is speaking of a very ancient conflict with the radical, wild donkey descendants of Ishmael. God says this:
If you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, I also will do this to you. I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you." Leviticus 26:14–17
God Almighty is plainly telling the planet that He will bring us down very low because as a people if we continue to transgress His commandments. He will discipline us, that is what a loving Father does.

Captivity and tribulation came to Northern Israel when they rejected Him and today it comes again to those that reject His teaching and instruction. In Hebrew, that teaching and instruction is called Torah. We have not obeyed the God of our fathers, the God of Israel, but "the elect" do because they return to Him.

Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 give God’s prophetic declarations and warnings for us in the end days because God's truth does not change, just read Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8.

There is no separation of an Old and New Testament. God promises that if we obey Him, He would set us "high above all nations of the earth" see Deuteronomy 28:1. However, if we do not obey God and keep His commandments: "Cursed shall you be in the city." As a people we are cursed in our cities.

Think about this: millions of Americans are afraid to go out of their own homes without locking every window and door all over this land, we are afraid to in this so-called "land of the free, and home of the brave." We lock our homes and secure our work places day and night like prisoners afraid of the burglar. We are not blessed in our towns and cities!

The growing effect of our national sins include an ever escalating drug culture as well as crime, violence, marital infidelity, homosexuality and sexual perversions of all sorts and every foul thing imaginable that is disgusting in the sight of our just and holy God.

In spite of our great material blessings, America has turned away from God and forgotten Him in many ways. We have plummeted our moral standards. We have become a nation not unlike Sodom and Nineveh and perhaps the only thing that keeps us from chaos is that this nation still stands by its tiny friend Israel.

God will allow chastisements for our own good as God rebukes and chastens every son He loves (Hebrews 12:6) before He returns. And...
"Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it [is] a mighty nation, it [is] an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say." Jeremiah 5:15
It can’t be ignored what nations on earth today use the eagle as their national emblem. Today, perhaps the best known is the United States, yet another is Iraq and a third, Egypt. It will be "a nation whose language you will not understand."
And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. Daniel 8:23
We must not think the prophet that wrote this spoke English. No, English is a language no Hebrew would have understood.

Messiah Yeshua tells us that after the great tribulation of Jacob that was seen in the holocaust of World War II, there are to be astronomical signs in the heavens above visible to everyone on earth.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken Matthew 24:29

So, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Matthew 24:33
Many do not understand this prophecy, they try to read things into it, but it is simple really when we consider God’s creation and astronomy.

A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon orbits directly between Earth and the Sun. A solar eclipse can only take place at the exact phase of a new moon, when the moon’s light is not seen as the moon passes directly between the Sun and the Earth and its shadows fall upon the Earth’s surface while the Sun goes dark as its light is blocked from view. When we realize this, Yeshua’s (Jesus) words are not mysterious at all and they point to a coming time of terrible shaking.

Interestingly, four is known as a number pointing to Messiah. This is because He first came some 4,000 years after Adam (Biblical day four). And it just so happens that the Sun's 864,000-mile diameter is fully 400 times greater than that of our moon, which measures just 2,160 miles. And the moon just happens to be about 400 times closer to the Sun than the Earth.

God is not through with His redeemption plan just yet and we need to be careful not to insert our own theologies like a pre-trib escape rapture into His plan. As we enter into the appointed period of His Fall Feasts in the season of end times, there is much more to be seen on Earth and in Heaven.

It is just as Paul tells us, we must see the lawless one first, before His return.

In America's beginning, our founding fathers professed us to be a God fearing nation, but now like ancient northern Israel that turned their backs on Judah in the south, we are filled with self importance, deceit, greed, violence and self-imposed independence from God.

We promote separation of church and state and like ancient Israel, our national debt rises higher and higher as we like ancient Israel face massive national debt and taxation. Many don't realize taxation was a leading cause for the ancient division of Israel. Just as it was long ago, troubles will lead to correction, just as a loving parent admonishes a child before Messiah returns.

Look up, His promised "signs" in the heavens will be seen in their seasons, so we need to be a watchman and look for them.

We must remain in constant prayer and walk in the instruction of God despite the fact that many in the Christian crowd say God's commandments are done away with.

Jesus, whose Hebrew name means salvation (Yeshua) declares just the opposite. If we follow a pulpit teaching that opposes Messiah's words, then do we not then oppose the Savior? After all, He says not one jot or tittle shall pass (Matthew 5:18) and His "Revelation" tells us:
"Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring -- those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus." Revelation 12:17
Revelation 11:15 tells us of the final day of Trumpets, it speaks of the seventh and final Trumpet. Many today say they "believe" in Jesus yet they do not know the Biblical calendar gives us the story of the Fall Feasts that begin with the Day of Trumpets as an appointment day for Messiah. To them He will come as a thief in the night.

Today, many do not celebrate the Feast Days despite the fact that God says they are an eternal appointment with Him. Can you just imagine what our Creator must think? After all, He tells us that only when the "Last Trumpet" is sounded before Messiah Yeshua’s Jubilee return in power and glory - will we see the end of testing.

Paul, also tells us that the man of lawlessness, the Torah-less "man" must be revealed in his second letter to the Thessalonians:
Concerning the coming of our Lord Messiah Yeshua and our being gathered to Him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Messiah Yeshua will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
Paul wrote this admonition because he knew the promises of the Bible. He knew the words of Daniel, Ezekiel and Isaiah. He knew that Yeshua will come to restore His people to Himself under His constitution of Torah.

Joshua did not finish the assignment, so Messiah will. His instruction stills stands, it is the ancient assignment given to Israel as the Prophets declare the fate of the nations that oppose not only promise of the Promised Land, it is about those that oppose The Father the Son and His people before they enter into the thousand years of rest with King Messiah on "His Day."

It is after He returns on that Biblical Sabbath "day," a thousand years, a time many call "the millennium" that Messiah will fulfill the words given to Isaiah and to John:
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever [in that] which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. Isaiah 65:17-19

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. Revelation 21:1-3
If you've known Him and walked away, return to Him now and embrace Him. If you do not know Him, turn to Messiah Yeshua now, the one called Jesus because "The Teacher" is calling for you to follow Him as part of a mixed multitude living in grace, mercy and in the repentant faith of His Torah path and...
Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. James 5:8-11
Repent of sin and call on the name, call on Messiah Yeshua, enter into His Kingdom.

P.S. I am not sure if you've ever noticed, but the Bible talks about many lost books. There is the book of "The Generations" (Genesis 5:1), the book of "The Wars" (Numbers 21:14), the book of "Jasher" which has been “found.”

It is mentioned in two spots (both Joshua 10:13 and 2Samuel 1:18). There is the lost book of "Nathan" and the book of "Gad" (1Chronicles 29:29); the book of "Shemaiah" (2Chronicles 12:15); the book of "Jehu" ((2Chronicles 20:34); the book of "The Records" (Ezra 4:15); the book of "The Purchase" (Jeremiah 32:12) and of course the Bible concludes with many references to the names found in the book of "Life."

The New Testament refers to the gospel of "Clement" which is very interesting and then there is another great read, the book of "Barnabas" the friend of Paul.

Perhaps one of the ancient Hebrew writings you should look into is called "Esdras", you may have read it, if not check it out. It appears in quite a number of Bibles published around the globe. In Ethiopia it is considered "canon." Scholars say it was written by Ezra. Check out this "end time" storyline of Messiah's return…
2 Esdras 13:8-46 After this I looked and saw that all who had gathered together against him, to wage war with him, were filled with fear, and yet they dared to fight but I saw only how he sent forth from his mouth something like a stream of fire, and from his lips a flaming breath, and from his tongue he shot forth a storm of sparks… (which) fell on the onrushing multitude that was prepared to fight, and burned up all of them, so that suddenly nothing was seen of the innumerable multitude but only the dust of ashes and the smell of smoke…

After this I saw the same man come down from the mountain and call to himself another multitude that was peaceable. This is the interpretation of the vision:

This is he whom the Most High has been keeping for many ages, who will himself deliver his creation; and he will direct those who are left.

And as for your seeing wind and fire and a storm coming out of his mouth… destroying the on rushing multitude that came to conquer him, this is the interpretation:

The days are coming when the Most High will deliver those who are on the earth. And bewilderment of mind shall come over those who inhabit the earth. They shall plan to make war against one another… Then, when all the nations hear his voice, all the nations shall leave their own lands and the warfare that they have against one another; and an innumerable multitude shall be gathered together, as you saw, wishing to come and conquer him.

But he shall stand on the top of Mount Zion. And Zion shall come and be made manifest to all people, prepared and built, as you saw the mountain carved out without hands.

And as for your seeing him gather to himself another multitude that was peaceable, these are the Ten Tribes that were taken away from their own land into exile in the days of King Hoshea, whom Shalmaneser, king of the Assyrians, made captives; he took them across the river, and they were taken into another land.

But they formed this plan for themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the nations and go to a more distant region, where no human beings had ever lived…

Then they lived there until the last times...
Another book from the Apocrypha is "Baruch." 2 Baruch has an amazing message for the people the Bible calls “Israel”:
Remember that formerly Moses assuredly called heaven and earth to witness against you and said: 'If you transgress the law you shall be dispersed, but if you keep it you shall be kept.'

And other things also he used to say unto you when you the twelve tribes were together in the desert. And after his death you cast them away from you: on this account there came upon you what had been predicted. And now Moses used to tell you before they befell you, and lo! they have befallen you: for you have forsaken the law.

Lo! I also say unto you after you have suffered, that if you obey those things which have been said unto you, you will receive from the Mighty One whatever has been laid up and reserved for you. Moreover, let this epistle be for a testimony between me and you, that you may remember the commandments of the Mighty One, and that also there may be to me a defense in the presence of Him who sent me.

And remember you the law and Zion, and the holy land and your brethren, and the covenant of your fathers, and forget not the festivals and the Sabbaths.
Update February 18, 2015:

I cannot overemphasize how important the Biblical information in this newly released book will provide to you:

America's Controversy With God's Covenant.

I do not make it a habit to recommend many books outside of those found in the Bible, but I do recommend this one.

What does this all mean?

It's time for you to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His word and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your coming assignment.

It means we need to know "Who is the One Called Jesus.

Consider a prayer: Please, God guide me by your Spirit as to what I should hear and do.

It's time to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His words and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your assignment.

Stretch out your hand, and take from the tree of life, and live forever.

Open a Bible, read it, listen to God's voice and do Yeshua's teaching about the forever jots and tittles.

You can learn how the things which are written in the Torah, the Prophets, and the Psalms are concerning Messiah and you can teach others to live life like Jesus, it's love in God's way:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3:16-17
Today is the time, open your eyes if you're dead in your own valley of dry bones.

Look up and you'll recognize Messiah from Abraham's promise passed on to Isaac and Jacob as written by Moses in the Torah. You can see Him too in the Prophets and the Writings.

Repent and walk your Emmaus Road with Messiah. Study the Scriptures He taught every Sabbath that are filled with doing life God's way in the Kingdom, and tell others about Him. Be a gatekeeper until the house is complete.

Shalom.
