Another Perspective

Many have seen the inside of a beautiful old watch. The parts and mechanisms are all synchronized, working together in harmony to show the proper time.

In my Scripture studies I found that we must remember the “set apart” Holy Days found in God’s word, so I thought you might enjoy another perspective on God’s word and His creation, one that you may have not considered before…

It's really pretty simply, the solar system is God's master timepiece.
"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years" Genesis 1:14

Our Creator uses the position of the earth, moon and sun
throughout the Bible to define His appointments.

On every Biblical feast season, the earth, moon and the sun align precisely on God's schedule as the crescent moon comes out of its new moon first day of darkness for the chodesh "shofar day" with Almighty God that points to the joy of life after death.
"Lift up a song, strike the tambourine, play the sweet-sounding harp and lyre. Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon, and at the full moon on the day of our Feast." Psalms 81:2-3
"And on your joyous occasions, your appointed feasts, and the beginning of each month, you are to blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will serve as a reminder for you before your God. I am the LORD your God." Numbers 10:10
In Numbers 10:2 God instructed the people to make two silver trumpets. Silver symbolizes redemption, and two trumpets point toward both Jews and Gentiles, native born and sojourner. A very special new moon chodesh day is Yom Teruah aka Trumpets Day, literally The Day of Blasting:
"Speak to the Israelites and say, 'On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly announced by trumpet blasts." Leviticus 23:24
The return of Yeshua to Jerusalem as King Messiah will be heralded by trumpets as promised in Revelation 8:6 Revelation 8:13. The ten days from Trumpets to the Day of Atonement are known as "the days of awe."  The last trumpet is noted in 1Corinthians 15:52.

Thank The Lord, that's a proof text from Paul that the so-called Old Testament is not old and done away with. He never started a new religion, he just explained the Bible.

The Day of Atonement is the big holy day and the day of the last trumpet. It is the most solemn day of the year noted in the Bible. It is declared by our Creator in Leviticus 16 as well as Leviticus 23:26-32 and Numbers 29:7. The Bible instructs people to be prepared for Yom Kippur as it is the day of national cleansing and repentance.  Not only that, each Jubilee year set aside for return and release of captives started on Yom Kippur. See Leviticus 25:8-54 and Isaiah 61:1-2  which Yeshua quotes in Luke 4:16-19.

You may have never heard it in a church sermon but Leviticus 16 makes clear that God has set up the Day of Atonement to "protect" people from coming into his holy presence in a sinful state and being destroyed by his consuming fire glory as Aaron's two sons were.

The graphic below shows the moon’s alignment with the earth relative to the sun as it has appeared since creation for each and every “Day of Trumpets” - - that announces the coming day of the “Last Trumpet” ten days later on Atonement Day aka Yom Kippur.

And as described in God’s word, the exact location of the full moon on the appointed first day of “Tabernacles” moves into its continous synchronized alignment with our blue planet as shown below. This day is the coming “Wedding Day" of the Lamb’s Bride (see Revelation 22:17).

God's voice never changes, neither does His timepiece above. Our solar system is always in perfect alignment with His voice and word as He set its pattern at creation and began to reveal it's teaching at Mount Sinai. Shouldn't we do the same and align our hearts and our actions with God's schedule?

God’s word never changes and His appointments always align with His creation.

My prayer is that “Believers” might be blessed to understand God's eternal promises are for today and that you have the great privilege to synchronize your belief and faith in Messiah by “walking” in His word, "keeping" His appointments as a faithful servant “before” He returns. (please see Revelation 14:12)

It's not a burden, not hard to do... just let go of theology and tradition - believe the Bible! John spoke about this:
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome. 1John 5:2-3
James admonishes you to participate and be blessed:
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. James 1:22-25
Paul encourages you to not worry what others say:
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath [days] Which are a shadow of things to come... Colossians 2:16-17
"Belief" and "faith" is the talk and the walk that the Psalmist wrote about:
"You have dealt well with your servant, O LORD, according to your word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word. You are good and do good; teach me your statutes." Psalms 119:65-68
What does this all mean?

What does this all mean?

Consider a prayer: Please, God, guide me as to what I should do.

It's time for you to repent and return to God's voice, return to hear and do His word and walk in the faith of His Kingdom path so that you can ready your lamp for your coming assignment. You can accept His gift of life. Consider carefully what your life consists of, look at it and repent of your sin, ask His forgiveness and accept His gift of love through Messiah Yeshua. Do it now!

If you want to dig in it deeper to learn more about how to align with God's scheduled appointments and how you can synchronize your life's calendar with His, check out The Fall Feasts of The Lord.

God is a sovereign God. He is a loving God and He has provided a way to offer you His salvation. You can accept His gift of life. Consider carefully what your life consists of, look at it and repent of your sin, ask His forgiveness and accept His gift of love through Messiah Yeshua.

Today is the time. If you know you need to get your life right with God, don’t wait for tomorrow, get it right with Him now!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17
Shalom ya'll.
