Forty Jubilees... End of the Wandering in Exile?

We know this for certain... Jesus, in Hebrew "Yeshua", declared His ministry the acceptable year of YHVH when He read from the scroll of Isaiah. (see Isaiah 61:1-2):

"The Spirit of YHVH GOD [is] upon me; because YHVH hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of YHVH" .

So, can we consider His public reading from Isaiah was actually a declaration of a "Yovel" Year, a Jubilee?

A year of liberty for the captives... to the penalty of sin.

Luke 4:20-21 tells us when He finished reading from Isaiah's scroll in the synagogue:

“And he closed the book, and he gave [it] again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”

There is more here than what meets the eye to the casual reader. After all, we must consider exactly what Jesus said:

"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel" (see Matthew 15:24). Jesus also said, "I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd" (see John 10:16). And He says this of both the "lost" sheep and the "other" sheep...

"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand" (see John 10:25-29).

Yet, His declaration was for a "year" of liberty, so we must ask, when did the lost sheep get lost, when were they taken "captive"? There are thousands of resources for this information. Here's one that lines up with the historical record:

The Northern Kingdom of Israel was conquered by the Neo-Assyrian monarchs, Tiglath-Pileser III (Pul) and Shalmaneser V. The later Assyrian rulers Sargon II and his son and successor, Sennacherib, were responsible for finishing the twenty year demise of Israel's northern ten tribe kingdom. Sennacherib also invaded some parts of the Southern Kingdom of Judah. He records forty-six fortified towns captured from Judah, and presumably carried away into Assyria. Jerusalem was besieged, but not taken. The tribes exiled by Assyria later became known as the Ten Lost Tribes.

The captivities began in approximately 740 BC, when the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and eastern half-tribe of Manasseh were carried away by one of the first successful Assyrian invasions.

And the Elohim of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day.(see 1Chronicles 5:26)

In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abelbethmaachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria. (see 2Kings 15:29)

In 722 BC, nearly twenty years after the initial deportations, the ruling city of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, Samaria, was finally taken by Sargon II after a three year siege started by Shalmaneser V.

Against him came up Shalmaneser king of Assyria; and Hoshea became his servant, and gave him presents. And the king of Assyria found conspiracy in Hoshea: for he had sent messengers to So, king of Egypt, and brought no present to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year: therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and bound him in prison. Then the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it three years. In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.(see 2Kings 17:3-6)

And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes: because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded and would not hear them, nor do them. (see 2Kings 18:11-12)

An Assyrian cuneiform mentions 27,290 captives were taken from Samaria, the capital of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, by the hand of Sargon II. Sargon records his first campaign on the walls of the royal palace at Dur-Sarraku (Khorsabad): "In my first year of reign the people of Samaria to the number of 27,290 ... I carried away. Fifty chariots for my royal equipment I selected. The city I rebuilt. I made it greater than it was before. People of the lands I had conquered I settled therein. My official (Tartan) I placed over them as governor. (L.ii.4.) (Luckenbill, Daniel David. Ancient Records of Assyria and Babylon)".

This is a long study because the topic is not well understood, but let's get started and consider the Biblical record as God declared Israel’s (Ephraim’s) judgment for sin and idolatry.

A judgment time frame was declared to the people tribes of northern Israel by God. He first described the "sentence" the judgment period to Ezekiel as 390 years (see Ezekiel 4:5-6). Initially, the penalty was 390 years, but because “Ephraim” did not repent at the end of the 390 years of punishment, then YHVH God’s “Sabbatical” penalty (7x) which is given in His teaching and instruction, His Torah engaged to multiply the original 390 year judgment. The result was a 7 x 390 period of punishment or 2,730 years! This penalty was given on a corporate or national level for the "captives" that Yeshua spoke of from the scroll of Isaiah.

Yes, Messiah Yeshua was speaking about the "captives", the scattered tribes of Northern Israel that were captured some 750 years earlier by the Assyrians.

Keep in mind, The Lord told the prophet Ezekiel to physically act out this time line to show everyone His plan. God instructed Ezekiel to lay on his right side for 390 days, a day each for the 390 years of iniquity and idolatry by the Northern House of Israel known as Ephraim.

We cant' forget about this story that Ezekiel lived out. That is why Paul wrote Timothy… “we must know that all Scripture is written for correction and for reproof”. This means God is unquestionably serious about this correction and reproof, about judgment and penalty. God required that Ezekiel literally act out the time frame so we could understand it.  Further, God repeats the importance of His Sabbatical (7x) penalty not just once, twice nor three times but four times in Leviticus! Let’s look at His words:

“And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.” Leviticus 26:18

“And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.” Leviticus 26:21

“Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.” Leviticus 26:24

“Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.” Leviticus 26:28

So, because of the lack of repentance, northern Israel’s punishment was ultimately given by God to be 390 years x 7 years or 2,730 years!!

History tells us the Assyrian conquest of Northern Israel occurred around 722BC, so this national chastisement may have actually ended sometime around the year 1996. It is no coincidence that this is the time period that many “believers” around the world, began to return in repentance to study the Torah, God's teaching and instruction for the first time! Many also began to turn back and honor the seventh day Sabbath for the first time. Many also began to honor the 7 Appointed Feast Days of YHVH by celebrating them, and people everywhere like our family even began to follow God’s simple and healthy diet plan.

It seems that it can be no coincidence that 1995-1996 was a Sabbatical Year, if not by date, by its impact!

To understand the timing of this amazing phenomenon among belivers around the globe, we should look closer.

Ezekiel lived approximately 135 to 150 years after the northern Kingdom - 10 Tribes of Israel were dispersed by the Assyrians. So Ephraim’s punishment had already begun when Ezekiel was given the 390 year timeframe and they (Ephraim) were “no more a people” of the Kingdom because they had defiled the land of heritage from God with idol worship and rejection of the Feast days and Torah. Let’s look at the words of Hosea:

“then He said, “Call his name Lo-Ammi, for you are not My people, and I am not for you.” Hosea 1:9

This is the amazing part of the story of Israel, Hosea is speaking also to all of us, the "lost sheep" of Israel in a future time!

As noted, Ezekiel gives the specifics of Israel’s judgment time window, but God reveals that there are two parts to the duration of each punishment period for their iniquity. YHWH God said this to Ezekiel 4:4-6: “And lie on your left side, and you shall put the crookedness of the house of Israel on it. As many days as you lie on it, you shall bear their crookedness.  “For I Myself have laid on you the years of their crookedness, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days. And you shall bear the crookedness of the house of Israel.”

A “Double Punishment” came to Ephraim when the people of the Northern ten tribes would not repent of their idolatry and paganism. And, YHWH God is adamant that He is a jealous Elohim and that Israel is to have “no other elohims” [gods] before Him, so they received a double judgment according to God's Torah. Note too, that Jeremiah says that the double punishment marks the beginning of Ephraim’s punishment.

Jeremiah 16:17-18 states: “For My eyes are on all their ways; they have not been hidden from My face, nor has their crookedness been hidden from My eyes. And FIRST I shall repay DOUBLE for their crookedness and their sin, because they have defiled My land with the dead bodies of their disgusting matters, and have filled My inheritance with their abominations.”

Using the Bibical base of 390 years of crookedness and doubling that number, we see that Ephraim was repaid double with a punishment of 780 years. The point in history that we can establish as the beginning of the Ephraim’s punishment is about 734 BC. This timeframe is based on the historical period when the 'tribe' of Manasseh, as well as the 'tribes' of Gad and Rueben were banished from the Promised Land when they were carried off to the Assyrian Empire twelve years after the initial invasion in 722 BC.

Calculating 780 years forward from 734 BC brings this history to the year 46 AD.

But history tells us it took a 12 year time frame to accomplish the complete fall and exile of Ephraim from the Land of Israel. So, if we calculate 780 years from the final fall of Samaria in the year 722 BC, we come to the year 58 AD. Now, think about what was happening in the Mideast right around the time frame of 46 AD to 58 AD after Messiah’s life, death and resurrection?

This was the exact timeframe that the Apostle Paul came onto the ministry scene!

This was the timeframe of the beginning of the salvation of "the nations", the so-called “Gentiles”. But also consider Trench's comments about the often misunderstood word “Gentile”... Richard C. Trench's Synonyms of the New Testament states this about the word "Λαός, a word of rarest use in Attic prose, but occurring between one and two thousand times in the Septuagint, is almost always there as a title reserved for the elect people, the Israel of God." (pg. 367)

Even the Strong Lexicon (H 1471) gives us this description of the word "Gentile": "a) nation, people, 1) usually of non-Hebrew people, 2) of descendants of Abraham, 3) of Israel". Did you notice that... "of Israel"?

So what is a Gentile?

Most say Paul was sent to the “Gentiles”... are they the elect of scattered Israel and the strangers sojourning among them? Paul, like Yeshua began to look for the lost sheep of the house of Israel, the people the Bible calls Ephraim! Paul was given the same mandate that Yeshua described to the Samaritan woman at the well for His own mission:

“I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” Matthew 15:24.

Shocking? Let’s look at Zechariah’s prophecy in light of Messiah Yeshua’s declaration:

“Thus says the LORD of hosts: “In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew”, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’” Zechariah 8:10

Does Messiah’s "lost sheep" statement make more sense now? This prophecy is related to ten men from the nations, the ten lost tribes of Israel that will seek Messiah!

The timing of the beginning of Paul’s ministry was some 780 years after Ephraim’s punishment had begun. At this time, Messiah King Yeshua established a way of "personal" redemption, but we must also consider that the redemptive work of Yeshua did not end or annul Ephraim’s corporate period of punishment from God. There was no national parole. Why? God does not change, His word stands... forever! forever.

To understand this, we have to read and believe the Scriptures. Let’s consider more from Hosea, a prophet to the Northern Kingdom. Remember, we now know that Ephraim did not repent:

“From the power of the grave I ransom them, from death I redeem them. Where is your plague, O Death? Where is your destruction, O Grave? Repentance is hidden from My eyes.” Hosea 13:14

Because there was no repentance from the House and kingdom family of Ephraim (the Λαός  Gentiles), Ephraim, the ten tribes of Northern Israel had cursed themselves for more punishment under Torah’s principles. YHVH had to evoke the seven times rule of Leviticus upon Ephraim, which is the second part of their punishment time window. Let’s look at it again:

“And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I shall punish you seven times more for your sins. And if you walk contrary to Me, and refuse to obey Me, I shall bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins,... then I also shall walk contrary to you, and I Myself shall smite you seven times for your sins... then I shall walk contrary to you in wrath. And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins.” (See Leviticus 26:18; 26:21; 26:24).

But Ephraim was given "a break" in that the punishments run concurrently with each other. Like a child who has been grounded, Ephraim was destined to be the recipient of two simultaneous, concurrently running judgment periods. The good news is that on a national level, since 722 BC the 2,730 years of punishment have now expired!!

When God YHVH declares a judgment, we can be sure it will come to pass to its full measure, even to the day that He declares it. What we sow, we will reap. Torah declares both blessings and curses. According to His voice we get punishment, even if we are sorry for our deeds and repent just as Adam did. He was told he would die and he did. God YHVH said to Ephraim that He would put her away and give her a “bill of divorce”, this was Ephraim’s judgment… "divorce" from God's face and from His land.

"And I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce”. And Israel, who is called Ephraim by God would be scattered among every nation of the globe." Jeremiah 3:8

“And I scattered them among the gentiles, and they were dispersed throughout the lands. I have judged them according to their ways and their deeds.” Ezekiel 36:19

And while we were in the nations, we would lose our identity. We would become, “Lo Ammi,” meaning “Not a People.”

“… for you are not My people, and I am not for you.” Hosea 1:9

Now you have the facts of the Bible. Ephraim [the northern ten tribes of Israel] were divorced from the Promised Kingdom Land and they were also exiled from the "Torah" as they rejected it calling it the Old Testament, a law “hung on the cross”. Ephraim received a sentence of 2730 years, yet perhaps the saddest part of this punishment is that Ephraim would not recognize just "who" he is in the mirror during his dispersion and wandering away from God’s straight path. For many, we would not know that we are YHVH’s people. A people that He calls "Israel". We would not know that when we read of the restoration of Israel in the writings of the prophets that we were reading about ourselves.

Perhaps one reason we do not recognize our identity is that we do not follow in His Torah, God's teaching and instruction. For example, we ignore God's Sabbath. We have re-arranged it on our calendar and gotten away from God rest.

Many think God's instruction for living was "hung on the cross", and not for us. But make no mistake, Torah observance is holy; it sets God’s people apart from others, it gives us our ensign, our identity. That's why God called His Sabbath day "a sign". We lost our identity and we are not known by the family name God give us. Just look in your Bible. It is name Israel that is the identity God gives His children, instead we want to call ourselves by our own identity, Christians or the Church. These name are not a bad thing, but they are just not the words that our Creator God uses to describe His children.

On the other hand, the Southern Kingdom of Judah [Jews] through time have maintained their identity as a part of Israel and many of them have now even returned to the Promised Land that was declared as a nation in a "single day" by U.N. Resolution 181. A vote recorded on November 29, 1947. It's culmination came six months later later on May 14, 1948 when David Ben-Gurion declared the establishment of a Jewish State (see Isaiah 66:7-8).

Nineteen years later, Jerusalem was reunited with the nation of Judah on June 7, 1967 (please see Joel 3:1). Judah has been restored to Jerusalem, but the brothers of Judah, the people of Joseph called Ephraim have not been re-united as their identity is not yet known as the "fullness of the Gentiles" still remains a mystery in plain sight to most of Christianity.

Just look at the words recorded in Hosea 8:8: “Israel has been swallowed up. They have now become among the nations as a vessel in which is no pleasure.” But the good news is this: YHVH is seeing Israel’s repentance as a people as a remnant returns to His teaching, His Torah principles. This began to occur on a corporate level as the complete 2,730 years of judgment for the Gentiles scattered among every nation now concludes.

This is the mystery of the fullness of the Gentiles Paul wrote about:

Romans 11:25: "Lest you be wise in your own sight, I want you to understand this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in."

Now are hearts are softened as God writes His Torah there. Judah's rejection of Messiah is also falling as many now see Messiah in the Torah and in Yeshua. The fact is the bible tells us Ephraim was given a punishment of 2,730 years... We know from the Cuneiform Text of Tiglath-Pileser 111, which chronicles his Gaza-Damascus Campaign in 734-722 BC that the beginning of the dispersion of northern Israel began in 734 BC with the exception of Samaria. Samaria fell in 722 BC. So it took 12 years (734 to 722 BC) for the entire Northern Kingdom to fall. Ephraim's judgment began in 734 or in 722 BC when the Northern Kingdom fell to Assyria.

"I handed her over to her lovers, the Assyrians, for whom she had lusted." Ezekiel 23:9

Interestingly, if we calculate 2730 years from 734 BC using today's calendar system, we arrive at the Sabbatical year of 1995-1996!

I am an amateur astronomy buff and that interest led me to a teaching on the upcoming Feast Day eclipses of 2014-15 from Pastor Mark Biltz of Bonney Lake, Washington. The more I thought about it, perhaps Pastor Blitz may be on to something related to Ephraim’s time of judgment and a relationship to the blood red lunar eclipses NASA says we will all witness in a couple of years during the Biblical Feast Days. The eclipses will be reported worldwide and known by all as most of the world ignores God's holy days, believing the deception and thinking that God's teaching and instruction has been done away with.

The prophet Joel tells us:

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. Joel 2:30-31

Joel says this will happen BEFORE the Day of The Lord. When we think about that, there is something incredible and amazing about the 2,730 year time frame of Ephraim/Joseph's judgment period and division from his brotherhood with Judah. It seems more than ever that the end of this judgment period is tied to the Biblical purpose of a Jubilee Year.

There is certainly no "thus saith The Lord" intended by any of these comments or observations, but perhaps one can begin to relate this time window to the allotment of time for a “return” to Torah by Ephraim/Joseph’s repentance and tie it to the year of Yeshua's declaration. If we just look at Luke's detailed account of the event we see:

“And Yeshua returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.  And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.  And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, "The Spirit of YHVH is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of YHVH." And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, "This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears." And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, 'Is not this Joseph’s son?'” Luke 4:14-22

So, here is the kicker, the punch line… is the acceptable Jubilee year also tied into a parable teaching? A teaching that may reveal that perhaps "all" Israel may be able to return (make Aliyah) into the Promised Land? Scripture mentions this return in the Jubilee teaching:

"Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each one of you is to return to his family property and each to his own clan". Leviticus 25:10

If we understand the times, and history, perhaps we can look back to Judah's return to Jerusalem following the Babylonian captivity as a key historical time marker in God's Jubilee Years. The return from Babylon was during a Jubilee year around 538 BC. If this Jubilee assumption is accurate, then with some Bible math we can determine that the Biblical calendar year 2016-2017 could also mark a Jubilee of the Biblical calendar.  This may very well put us on the threshold of the beginning of another great Jubilee. Every Bible student knows Daniel describes 69 weeks of years. Interestngly, the nation of Israel was declared by the UN on November 29, 1947. Although not weeks of years, if we add calendar 69 years to that date we arrive at 2016.

And to top it off, the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) in 2015 will be 2,520 weeks or 49 Biblical years following the 1967 reunification of Jerusalem after Israeli paratroopers entered the gates of the Old City and reclaimed the Temple Mount bringing the city under Jewish control for the first time in nearly 2,000 years. Five days after the Feast, we will see the last of the four lunar eclipse of this Tetrad on Sukkot/Tabernacles 2015. The next calendar year, 2016 will mark a Jubilee, or 50 year's of 360 Biblical days since Jerusalem was retaken during the Six-Day-War on June 7, 1967, 7 days before the Feast of Shavuot (Pentecost).

The blessing of the Jubilee year is: “return” and “restoration” - to the proper place - in God's land - according to God’s allotment and family heritage. Sound strange.... let’s look at God’s words about this:

"And thou shall number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shall thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth [day] of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout [all] the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family". Leviticus 25:8-10

Most scholars agree that Luke’s account of Yeshua’s Sabbath reading of Isaiah in the Nazarene synagogue was declared by our Savior near or around the year 30AD:

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.  Luke 4:16-19

So with some Biblical mathematics, we can compute that 40 Jubilees from that day of reading in the synagogue on the Sabbath day may be within the 2015-2016 Feast Day time period... on the tenth day of the seventh month, the day of Atonement - Yom Kippur.

That year... 2015, will also mark 70 Jubilees (49 year counts) from the first Jubilee in the Promised Land @ 1367BC. This could be is VERY significant as the book of Daniel may be referencing 70 Feast of Weeks celebrations during the Jubilee years. In addition, with just seven years to go from today, we are also on the verge of completing 70 Feast of Weeks celebrations since the U.N. declared the Jewish State by U.N. Resolution #181 on November 29, 1947. (See Daniel 9:22–27).

The time of judgment that is measured for Judah (Jews) is declared in Ezekiel 4:6: "And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year."

Could it be that Messiah Yeshua's declaration was made for the 40th Jubilee “Day” from Abraham’s entry into the Promised Land? That is a powerful thought to consider.

Look at the Biblical math: 2015AD – 30AD = 1985 Gregorian years or 725,001 days.

There are 18,000 days in a full Jubilee period which is 49 years plus the year of Jubilee. The math works like this: (360 x 50 = 18,000 days). This allow us to compute the number of Jubilees from AD 30 to 2015 to be 40. This is also the number of years for wandering Israel. Here’s the math: (2015 - 30 = 1985) and (1985 x 365.24 = 725,001). To covert these days to Jubilees the formula is (725,001 / 18,000 = 40.28). There it is, the 40 Jubilee years from Yeshua’s declaration in the synagogue at Nazareth to 2015.

We know that 40 years is a key Biblical time period on God's clock. In addition, 40 Jubilees (40 x 50 = 2,000) is by no coincidence two ‘days’ (2 days = 2,000 years. See 2 Peter 3:8) and let's not forget this, we have the promise of return given to Israel as well as His return from the words of Hosea's prophecy:

"Come, and let us return unto YHVH: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, That we may live before Him. Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know YHVH: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the earth. O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness [is] as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away. Therefore have I hewed [them] by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments [are as] the light [that] goeth forth."
Hosea 6:1-5

Let me say this to anyone reading this right now that I am not declaring an absolute here, rather I am describing something that needs to be considered, carefully weighed in the scales of truth and tested. I am always open to correction and reproof as that is one purpose of all Scripture.

We must consider that 2014-2015 may very well tie with a Jubilee end to Ephraim's punishment period and perhaps a decree and change in the laws of Aliyah. The legal status within the Promised Land could very well engage linking the coming events to the Biblical Jubilee of the 1967 Six Day War.

We should also consider that this is declared by God’s own Jubilee definition given to Moses for the Jubilee Year (the trumpet year), the "year of return" as seen in Leviticus 25:13:

"'In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to his own property." And Leviticus 27:24 also come into play: "In the Year of Jubilee the field will revert to the person from whom he bought it, the one whose land it was."

Do these 40 Jubilee years since Messiah's ministry mark the 40 Jubilee years God's people are to ‘eat manna’, (meaning study and learn Torah) while scattered in the Diaspora and the wilderness of planet earth after he departed? Forty Jubilees are very important on God's calendar. Abraham arrived 40 Jubilees after Adam. Jesus or Yeshua arrived 40 Jubilees after Abraham. At the end of the forty years, Israel crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land. And now the 40th Jubilee after Messiah is right before us. That means we are on the ledge of time - overlooking the 120th Jubilee year as well. A time that God told Noah would be the time marker that He would no longer "strive" with mankind:

"And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." Genesis 6:3

These are Jubilee "years"... and strive is the Hebrew word "diyn". It means "to judge, contend, plead".

Exodus 16:35 tells us that 40 is a judgment period: "And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan."

Consider the words of these verses of "forty" and the questions they raise about this theme:

Messiah came for the lost sheep. Is there a connection to our own temptations that have come from Satan while scattered in the nations?

Mark 1:13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

Is the flood of Ephraim across the earth to last forty Jubilees after the rain of Messiah's words?
Genesis 7:17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

Is Ephraim’s time in Diaspora a metaphor for the embalmed man Israel?

Genesis 50:3 And forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed: and the Egyptians mourned for him threescore and ten days.

Is Messiah's journey at the right hand forty Jubilees in length?

Exodus 24:18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

Numbers 13:25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days. Numbers 14:33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

Does the breach of covenant contract penalty expire after fortieth Jubilee from Messiah's declaration?

Numbers 14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, [even] forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, [even] forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

Does Ephraim now know his commandments or not?

Deuteronomy 8:2 And thou shall remember all the way which YHVH thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness to humble thee, [and] to prove thee, to know what [was] in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Are these forty Jubilees those that He would not allow us (dispersed Israel) in the land?

Joshua 5:6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people [that were] men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of YHVH: unto whom YHVH sware that he would not shew them the land, which YHVH sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey. Also, Judges 13:1 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of YHVH; and YHVH delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.

Did Ephraim not know God’s Torah way and path these forty Jubilees?

Psalms 95:10 Forty years long was I grieved with [this] generation, and said, It [is] a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

Like a foreshadowing is there a tie to coming events that we will witness in Egypt?

Ezekiel 29:12-13   And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries [that are] desolate, and her cities among the cities [that are] laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. Yet thus saith YHVH GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:

Does Amos also speak of forty Jubilees of physical separation from Messiah for improper worship and idolatry?

"I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept [them]: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?  But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith YHVH, whose name [is] The God of hosts." Amos 5:21-27

The bottom line question... Are we in the “latter days” of Ephraim’s judgment and the forty Jubilee years of separation from Messiah’s presence are now expiring? Consider these words from Acts:

And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sinai an angel of YHVH in a flame of fire in a bush. Acts 7:30

So... lets fast forward to 2015-2016...

Might we see the present government in the land of Israel change their law of Aliyah in a few short years? Could the world see a change in the Israeli laws of return that were established for the people "Judah" in 1950? Could Ephraim be invited back around the time frame of 2014-15?

I believe that we must consider these questions and if this is the case, it may be due to a terrible conflict, a war... tribulation in the region. A war against Israel, against Jerusalem involving destabilization in Syria, Egypt and Iran as well as other nations that surround and oppose Israel. I also believe we will see the desolation of Damascus described in Isaiah 17:1 and the war of the goat and the ram (tht is another study on Daniel 8). As the world focuses in on a division of Jerusalem and the West Bank, the land of none other than the mighty Ephraim, God's word tells us that nations will come against Jerusalem:

"For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city." Zechariah 14:2

The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. And all the people shall know, [even] Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart, The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change [them into] cedars. Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together; The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still. For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts. Isaiah 9:8-13

We must take note that Rezin was the king of Damascus during the reigns of kings Jotham and Ahaz of Judah. Because of this, I believe that events in Damascus, in Syria will be critical in this conflict. I also believe that we must consider the possible timing of an outbreak - this probable war may be tied to the prophetic story of Esther and its remembrance on Purim. After all, Esther's story occurred in Susa, Persia - - today we call it Iran. So it seems - - Iran is also involved in the war.

We need to know this - - the land that is proposed to be ceded to the PLO is the land of Ephraim, the area of mountains of Northern Israel as seen on the ancient maps of the Promised Land. Ezekiel was told this by Almighty God:

Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of times that are far off.

Therefore tell them, Thus says the Lord GOD: There shall none of my words be deferred any more, but the word which I shall speak shall be performed, says the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 12:26-28

So what might we see around the Feast Days of the 2014-2015 eclipse period?

It looks to be tied to the timing of the end, the latter days of Ephraim's dispersion and exile from brother Judah and the Promised Land. That's what the "end days" are!

The end days are not the end of the world, but the end, the latter days of the separation, division and captivity. The "end" marks the "beginning" of the greater Exodus of the whole people that God calls by the family name Israel, a time that God told the prophets including Moses and Zephaniah would occur in the latter days:

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call [them] to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. If [any] of thine be driven out unto the outmost [parts] of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. Deuteronomy 30:1-5

At that time will I bring you [again], even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD. Zephaniah 3:20

(For more on Israel's restoration, see this study: The Lost Sheep Scriptures and Don't Be a Victim of Identity Theft.)

Consider this important fact, the 1950 official legal declaration for Judah (Jews) to enter the land occurred the last two times we saw four consecutive Feast Day eclipses of the moon. Check this for yourself. The law of Aliyah was established on July 5, 1950 by the Knesset, Israel's Parliament when they enacted the Law of Return 5710-1950 for the Jews. The eclipses occurred after the nation of Israel was formed in May 1948:

1949 April 13 Total Lunar Eclipse Feast of Passover
1949 October 7 Total Lunar Eclipse Feast of Tabernacles
1950 April 2 Total Lunar Eclipse Feast of Passover
1950 September 26 Total Lunar Eclipse Feast of Tabernacles

Again after the Six Day War, Israel took control of Jerusalem in 1967 and the eclipses occurred:

1967 April 24 Total Lunar Eclipse Feast of Passover.
1967 October 18 Total Lunar Eclipse Feast of Tabernacles.
1968 April 13 Total Lunar Eclipse Feast of Passover.
1968 Oct. 6 Total Lunar Eclipse Feast of Tabernacles.

The Biblical year 2014-2015 may be a Sabbatical year. The preceding total blood moon total lunar eclipses break down as follows:

Passover April 15, 2014
This lunar eclipse occurs in the constellation Virgo.

Feast of Tabernacles October 8, 2014.
This lunar eclipse occurs in the constellation of the "two" fish of Pisces.

Passover April 4, 2015
This lunar eclipse again occurs as a witness to the constellation Virgo.

Feast of Tabernacles September 28, 2015.
This eclipse also occurs in the constellation of Pisces like a second witness to the constellation.

The two solar eclipses are also connected with God’s Holy Days in 2014-2015, they are:

March 20, 2015 just before Passover.

As the third witness, this solar eclipse again occurs in the "two" fish of Pisces.

Feast of Trumpets September 13, 2015.

Finally, this 4th Feast Day eclipse occurs right "between" the constellations of Virgo and Leo the lion king.

If we see a war, there could be a key relationship to a middle-east conflict that could perhaps engage the legal change of the laws of Aliyah which were established in none other than 1950 just before Tabernacles and the 4th consecutive Feast Day eclipse of that awesome time period of the Promised Land.

As you may have guessed by now there is a constellation correlation, a "sign" (Genesis 1:4) in the sky as the Tabernacles Day lunar eclipse of 1950 also occurred in "two" fish of Pisces. So did the Tabernacles eclipse of 1949 as well as the lunar eclipse of Passover 1950 and yes, the Tabernacles eclipse of 1949 also appeared in the constellation Virgo. Strange? Yes, but that is how God works... in mystery. He hides things right before our eyes so that we will engage and seek Him as we watch and study His word. He means what He says. It's that simple.

In 1967, the lunar Passover eclipse was once again seen in Virgo as was the Tabernacle eclipse. In 1968, the Passover eclipse was again in Virgo and finally the Tabernacles eclipse of 1968 occurred in Pisces.

Do you see the storyline, the sign? The constellation, the sign we now know as Virgo speaks of birth, the coming of Messiah and this is clearly noted by John in Revelation 12:1-7. Leo speaks of the coming King and Picses of the two families of Israel, Ephraim and Judah, those that they will overcome the deceiver by "the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony". "Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them" just as Revelation tells us.

Why are we allowed to see this now?

So that we are ready, prepared. From Luke 21:24-28 we see "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles [the nations] be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars"  Yeshua gave us this prophecy that "there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars". So, we must now consider and study God's words as they apply to the end of the exile.

Still a mystery to most, Jerusalem is not considered home today by the people “Ephraim”, it has simply been tread upon by them as a place to visit. But the fullness of the Gentiles is upon us today. We must consider the possibility of the significance to the celestial events that are soon coming in the Feasts Days of the next Sabbatical Year (2014-2015).

The events of the occurrences of these signs in the skies surrounding the Feast Days last occurred after 1948 when the 1949 Armistice Agreements and the Tripartite Declaration of 1950 were signed. These legal events, these declaration of law are critical and they tie to the eclipses to legal declaration of return for Judah. They track to time windows of the celestial events very closely. We must consider that these agreements preceded and enabled the official and legal call of Judah into the land from around the globe with The Law of Return (ha-shvt - Item 5710-1950) enacted by Israeli parliamentary legislation on July 5, 1950 by the Knesset which has resulted in 3,400,000 immigrations into Israel.

There is a strong possibility that 2014-2015 is the end of the exile, the Biblical latter day time frame for Ephraim and Judah to begin to be legally restored in the land.

Interesting, in Scripture and as we have seen in ancient and near history, whenever Judah, the Jewish people were called back to the promised land it has always required a Kings's decree as we have seen by the entreatments of Aaron and Moses to the Egyptian Pharaoh who ordered the end of the first exile, Cyrus the Great, Darius the Great, Artaxerxes Longimanus and finally Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion.

The bottom line... could we see a change in the Israeli laws of Aliyah following the time frame of 2014-15 by a King's decree?

A change that might occur during the time of release, the Sabbatical year (shmita Hebrew: שמיטה, literally "release"). If the most recent Sabbatical year began on Rosh Chodesh Tishri 1 in September 2008, the next will begin on the Day of Trumpets Tishri 1 or September 14, 2014. If that "release" occurs the legal return of the ten tribes will be specifically tied to the expiration of the 2,730 year punishment and expulsion from the Promised Kingdom Land for the people known as Ephraim.

A time when many in the Christian family will know their identify as Ephraim, as a part of Israel and become united with their brothers Judah. United as one in the hand of YHVH.

Pray that the hearts of the children be turned to their fathers and from brother to brother, united by Messiah.

Ezekiel 11:17-20 Therefore say, Thus says the Lord GOD: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. They shall come there, and they shall take away all the detestable things of it and all the abominations of it from there. I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh; that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

And, there is another possibility and another Scriptural clue.

This time line of the Feast Day eclipses appear to align with the generations that were counted to Messiah's first coming and a prophetic count of 70 generations. Consider Paul's words to the Galatians:

Galatians 3:29 If you are Messiah's, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to promise.
Most scholars agree Abraham was born around 1992BC or some 4,000 years ago, perhaps 70 generations to Messiah's return. How is that you say? Well, let's just look at the clue given in the book we call Matthew:

Matthew 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David [are] fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon [are] fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ [are] fourteen generations.

That tells us the "generation" count to the first coming of our humble Messiah was three sets of 14 generations. Matthew's verse give us a timeline of 42 generations or 14+14+14 = 42.

Since that first coming some 2,000 years ago I believe we might consider that we have had two more sets of 14 generations (28) for a total of 70 generations from Abraham. Here's the math worth considering: 42+14+14 = 70.

So much like the five books of Torah we can see there may be five sets of 14 generations from Abraham to the fulfillment of the promise God gave to him. Does that mean that the promise giver will walk again with His nations? If so, we may soon see the return of the giver of the strength of the Covenant, the King of Israel heralded by the red moon and black sun to be seen on the appointed Feast Days within the next couple of years.

In Scripture, seventy also represents all nations of God's people.

We might also consider that the 70 weeks of Daniel represent a hidden message of the 70 generations from Abraham to the King's return to the 70 nations.

Scripture establishes that seventy is very important:

Jacob was mourned 70 days. Should we consider it prophetic for Abraham's seed and heirs that at the end of the mourning period since Messiah's visit 2,000 years ago, the family of Jacob will again go back into the land to meet their King?

Other Biblical seventies include a shadow picture of "the nations".

Just look at Revelation's "all" nations:

Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest Scriptural seventies include thematic references to the future of all nations of Israel described in Revelation including the fall of Babylon which is, the demise of idolatry. Consider these:

Exodus 1:5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt [already].

Daniel 9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Genesis 11:26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Jeremiah 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, [and] an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

Revelation speaks of Babylon many times and tells us of the fall of the deceiver. Doesn't Jeremiah allude to that?

Jeremiah 25:12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, [that] I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

Might we then consider that after seventy generations will Messiah return in a cloud and His people gather and return to the land to worship?

Just study these verses and their prophetic theme:

Jeremiah 29:10 For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

Exodus 24:1 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.

Exodus 24:9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:

Numbers 11:16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.

Numbers 11:24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.

Numbers 11:25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that [was] upon him, and gave [it] unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, [that], when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

Could Jerusalem see Messiah again at the count of 70 generations from Abraham?

We need to watch and pray as we look at the signs He gives us in His creation. Sings of His seasons, His appointments with mankind.

There is a reason for the sevens of Scripture. A reason for the seven day week, the seven appointed festivals of YHVH, the seven days of Passover, the seven days of Tabernacles and good reason for considering a count of seventy generations from Abraham that may soon conclude on the 120th Jubilee of mankind and the 40th Jubilee of Messiah's first coming.

The Book of Mark tells us what we can expect from the words of Messiah Yeshua:

But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, [even] at the doors. Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. [For the Son of man is] as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mark 13:23-37

The coming Feast Day eclipses of 2014-2015 appear to be very important - but there may be more... a preview of sorts.

In May 2012, we will be looking at the moon and the fire of the sun engulfing it during the annular solar eclipse on Day 43 of the Omer count (May 20th), just one week (seven days) before Pentecost/Shavuot. Any astronomy software program can show us that it occurs in the constellation Taurus in the “heart” of the constellation during the peak of the eclipse. It just so happens that this will occur on the Jewish calendar on Iyyar 28th.

So what is special about this day? The liberation of Jersualem was on June 7, 1967 day 43 of the Biblically ordained Omer count following Passover which was Iyyar 28th in 1967, 7 days before Pentecost. This circle of fire eclipse also occurs Iyyar 28, 2012 7 days before Pentecost (Shavuot).

Bible scholars like E.W. Bullinger tell us the ancient theme of the constellation Taurus is that of Messiah our Judge, but this of course has been polluted by the deceiver through astrology. That deception alone is why we must consider God’s design and timing in astronomy because whatever God creates for His glory, Satan wants to destroy by deception. Whatever God wants to show Satan wants to hide. What God wants to reveal Satan wants to distort.

The constellation, the "sign" we call Taurus is graphically shown within Scripture in the instruction of the offering of the Red Heifer and the water of purification. It is represented by the ancient Paleo Hebrew letter Aleph (the Ox).

We know the Judge of all the earth that "purifies" all believers and saves them from the un-cleanliness of eternal death through Messiah’s life offering is soon coming. If you are interested on more on the theme of the red heifer offering and Messiah Yeshua - check out the chapter about the Red Heifer sacrifice in the study Aleph Tav: Herald of Messiah.

While many usually only equate Messiah's work at the cross with the lamb, there is more because He can be seen in all the offerings including the red heifer. This offering was a “fire” offering, a whole burnt sacrifice.

So what will we witness in this 2012 annular eclipse? The ring of fire from the sun engulfing the moon in Taurus moving from East to West. This reminds us of Deuteronomy 33:13-17:

"And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD [be] his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath, And for the precious fruits [brought forth] by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and [for] the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let [the blessing] come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him [that was] separated from his brethren. His glory [is like] the firstling of his bullock, and his horns [are like] the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they [are] the thousands of Manasseh."

Because of that, we might consider this eclipse depicts the coming of Yeshua (Jesus) as King to regather all of scattered Israel.

n the book of Revelation, John tells us He appears with white hair and seven stars in His right hand. Hum, Taurus has seven stars in its shoulder. Could this represent the seven angels of His seven assemblies of Revelation? There are seven famous stars above the fire of the eclipse. These seven stars are those God that spoke to Job about, they are the Pleiads (see Job 9:9 and Job 38:31).
How do you think God feels about His seven assemblies?

Well, God describes the seven stars of Pleiads to Job as the “sweet influences”. But why? I think it’s because those assemblies represented by the seven stars in Messiah’s hand are blessed by Him to proclaim His gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth before His return.

Check out the key words in the Revelation:

Revelation 1:7-8 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega (in Hebrew, the Aleph and Tav), the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 1:14-16 His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

Why else might this be a sign of His coming? The King James tells us that Jesus-Yeshua states, as recorded in Matthew 24:27:

"For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be."

But the Pastoral Bible Institute has this to say about translating Matthew 24:27 as lightning:

“The Greek word αστραπη, astrapē, usually means “lightning” in Greek literature (though not always; see Thayer’s lexicon). [Related words: Hb. תשע, ashath, “to shine, sheen;” English “star.”] Matthew and Luke use it differently in many, and maybe all, places.

Luke 11:36 speaks of the bright shining of a lamp (which could hardly be lightning). Matthew. 24:27 almost certainly refers to “sunshine” when it speaks of it coming from the east and going to the west; Luke 17:24 is a parallel passage. While Matthew 28:3 and Luke 10:18 could be understood either way, in the interest of consistency the word is here translated “bright light” or, “bright shining”."

"Astrape" is from the Greek root word astraptō. It means dazzling objects, perhaps much like the sun and moon of an annular eclipse. Yeshua tells how He will come upon the world. He does this by describing a dazzling light, that progresses from east to west in the sky. Many translations present this light as "lightning" and use the word “flash” rather shine, for that reason it leaves the wrong image. Why?

Lightning is seen all the time, but the next annular eclipse will not be seen again until (May 10th) on Day 45 of the Omer count, just 5 days before Pentecost/Shavuot of 2013 in Aries the ram and then again (April 29th) on Day 14 of the Omer count following Passover, just 36 days before Pentecost/Shavuot 2014, again it will be seen in the heavenly constellation of Aries the ram. After we witness these three rings of fire, the next annular eclipse will be (September 1st) in 2016. This time, the timing of the event leaves the days of the Omer count and moves on to the Fall Feast which is considered the most holy day of the year. It occurs on none other than Yom Kippur (Judgment Day) in none other than Leo the Lion. You can view the annual solar eclipse schedule from NASA.

But why two in the lamb of Aries? Perhaps we should consider Isaac and Yeshua. After all, Genesis 22:8 tells us: "And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together." Why Leo?

Revelation 5:5 tells us: "Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.""

Doesn't that seem a bit unusual? These annular eclipses appear near the fall feast days around Pentecost/Shavuot, then Yom Kippur and each of the constellations have a graphic representation, a sign of Messiah - as seen from Scripture.

Lightning does not generally come from the east and shine even to the west, but the sun does. These eclipses certainly do.

The word “lightning” in Matthew is a poor translation of the Greek word “astrape,” which signifies dazzling, a “bright shining” (as given in Luke 11:36 in the KJV), and really refers here, as the context indicates, to the sunlight which shines always from the east even to the west, while on the other hand, lightning always flashes and breaks in a variety of directions.

A flash of lightning would only illuminate the sky for a split second, which is not a good illustration of Jesus’ eternal return as King. The word translated as flash actually means to be seen, appear, to bring forth into the light. Hum… is that not what happens with the ring of fire seen in an annular eclipse?

We should consider that the Greek word here translated as "flash", phainō is never translated as flash anywhere else in the 31 other times it appears in the Bible. Never. So we must look closer.

Here are just a few Biblical examples:

Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

2Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.

Revelation 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof.

The sunshine of this new day, however, is different from a normal day, for the prophecy says that the bright shining is darkened by the clouds (see Isaiah 5:30; Joel 2:2 and Zephaniah 1:15).

By "clouds" we can understand this to mean obscurity — darkness and trouble on earth (see Isaiah 8:22).

It is a unique day, different from what we have known before, for we are told that at evening time, rather than darkness coming, there will be light (see Zechariah 14:7). So, we can see that this "day" endures on into the millennial rule, when the world will be instructed in the ways of Yahweh, and the knowledge of Yahweh will fill the earth. — Isaiah 2:2-4; 6:11.

Malachi 4:2 tells us this: "But unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings; and ye shall go forth, and gambol as calves of the stall."

In the beginning of Scripture, God tells us He put the stars in place for signs and season so we need to pay attention... a week after Shavuot/Pentecost in 2012, the planet Venus, the morning star will make a rare transit across the sun on June 5th, eight years after the June 8th transit in 2004. This time the transit is seen directly between the horns of the constellation Taurus, the Aleph. This occurs in the 4th year of the 7 year Sabbatical year cycle.

NASA tells us: "Transits of Venus are only possible during early December and early June when Venus' orbital nodes pass across the Sun. If Venus reaches inferior conjunction at this time, a transit will occur. Transits show a clear pattern of recurrence at intervals of 8, 121.5, 8 and 105.5 years. The next pair of Venus transits occur over a century from now on 2117 Dec 11 and 2125 Dec 08."

Further... "When a transit of Venus occurs, a second one often follows eight years later. This is because the orbital periods of Venus (224.701 days) and Earth (365.256 days) are in an 8 year (2922 days) resonance with each other."

So, if we do the math, the June 2012 Venus transit will be about the 82nd transit to occur in the last 6,000 years. By the end of the 7th millennium the Venus transit count will be 100. In visible transit days, that would be the second Jubilee in the 7,000 years or in Biblical counting, 7 days.

Let's consider the words and meaning of Psalms 19:1-6:

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun a bridegroom coming out of his chamber as a strong man to run a race. His going forth [is] from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Look up - redemption is drawing near. Are you ready?
